To give you an idea, I started at 6 cpl with easy clinic notes about 15+ years ago and that should be about what you should be getting to start, unless as I said you have really great accounts where you can practically type in your sleep, great normals, etc. My advice would be to get a little more experience under your belt with this job and then start looking for a place with better pay. That way you'll have some leverage.
