I just read your post. I can't believe this. There is probably a law broken against HIPAA in there somewhere, but I can't think of what. It affects patient care. The director of radiology should fire her rear-end ASAP and anyone else contributing to this negligence. This is a very good reason why a lot of facilities are going to medical transcription services. The delivery of these reports is CONTROLLED with electronic documentation, copies sent, faxes sent, etc. This girl needs to go to work for McDonalds or Burger King. Then maybe she'd learn how to be prompt in her job. Another thing: You would never hear of anything like what was described here going on in an attorney's office. That girl would be canned after the 2nd day of not distributing that valuable information readily and immediately.
