I use MSN/hotmail and
have never had any problems. As mentioned before, a lot of companies will not allow you to use AOL. I worked for a company one time that would not allow you to have any part of AOL on your system, not even the AIM messenger.
Hotmail is the same way - you can see what it is sm
and who sent it before you open it. If it's spam or junk mail, you can delete it or send it to the junk mailbox without opening it at all.
Accessing hotmail
I think it must be a server thing or the number of ppl accessing. I have a hotmail account and I could not get there today, no matter what I did. and I have IE7 also. I went through Windows Live Messenger. I even googled and tried to get in that way and all my other sneaky ways to get around problems. As you can see, I finally got through. You just have to be one step ahead of them i guess. Try some of your Windows Live programs, that is what I do and did. Good luck.
Since updating to IE7 I cant access hotmail, anyone SM
else have this problem. I've tried all the usual routes. TIA
I cannot access hotmail today either (not sure what IE7 is) :) nm

I've had a Hotmail account for years
They are updating it to "Windows Live Hotmail" which is much more like Outlook Express. You have 2 gigs of free storage space if you need it. I only use a fraction of that - it is the address I use when I'm ordering something online so I won't get tons of spam in my "regular" email.
