A VR pay question

Can anyone who does both VR and transcription explain to me how YOUR company figures your line pay? I'm relatively new to this, and the way my company "figures" this is kinda on the fishy-confusing side! Your help would be much appreciated!

- A lot of companies are different but generally it is anywhere from - VR-er
