tip at least $10 when I eat out. I tell you one thing though, my pizza place always gets exactly what I order to me. If they didn't, I wouldn't tip as good. If I didn't get good service somewhere though, I would go some place else.

The stress of the job keeps me biting my nails. No nails here! nm
How about a pedicure for the mom-to-be
and they can do it a few days before they are due..feels great and also makes feet "look good" for delivery! lol
Haircut? too funny. sm
I've been doing at home for 1 year and 5 days (happy anniversary to meeee!) and, although I started off good, I just got lazy. :)
At first I would never leave the house without makeup, fixing my hair and putting my contacts in. Now I run to the local convenience store (if need be) in jeans, slippers, glasses, ponytail and no makeup. I've even let my hair start turning grey.
I spent 25 years going to an office (17 years inhouse MT) fighting traffic, repairing runs in my nylons and killing my feet with "office shoes." My feet don't hurt anymore and I had a celebratory burning of my nylons last October (save one pair for weddings, funerals, etc) and I haven't looked back.
My DH doesn't mind. In fact, he wants me to go grey. He's been snow white since 35. :) My kids don't care because I'm home when they get home.
Not to worry, if I do a major shopping trip like Wal Mart or something, I get fixed up and put in my contacts and wear sneakers. If I happen to stop into the local convenience store on my way home, the clerk will say, "Why are you all dressed up today?"
haircut prices...
Wow...12 bucks is not expensive at all. I'm in the southeast and pay total about $40...that's for shampoo, cut, blow dry, and tip. As far how long it takes, I am assuming you mean to get a hair cut? Mine usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how much I get cut off, stying, etc...consider yourself lucky!
Highlights - OMG
I read Highlights as a kid. Thanks to Mom, I always had a subscription. I'm getting my kids hooked on Highlights now too! I love that!
That's for a cut & full highlights though...
I don't know what she would charge for just a hair cut.
Somehow a mid-40's woman with an Alice in Wonderland haircut
She deserves to have her own TV show and be considered a "star" as much as Ashley Simpson or Paris Hilton.
Any points on sightseeing in Maine and New Hampshire, just highlights that are most worthwhile. nm

long nails
I have had long nails for so long that I cannot type without them. I type using the pads of my fingers, not the tips. The funny thing is when I take the nails off, then subconsciously I try to type with the tips and it drives me nuts. You go figure.
PIZZA, it's the usual.

We got pizza delivered.
Church group tonight.
I usually give $2 to the pizza man
and $2 to 3 to the hairstylist. Depends on if they cut straight or not!!!
Is that like hair and nails?
I was trying to figure out what aesthetics is and it looks like cosmetology or doing hair and nails. Is that right?
pizza and denzel washington
pizza gives you different food categories and you can "doctor" pizza for variety by adding pineapples or other things you could find on the island. denzel is a manly man, charming, funny and intelligent. if drink is added cold beer (corona with lime) would go great with my pizza.
frozen pizza and Perrier

Go out almost never, but do Chinese and pizza twice a week. nm

Mmmmmmmmmmmm..cold pizza
I finally have nice nails.
My nails are about 1/4" long. They're real and I keep them painted. I can't do the huge long fake claw nails.
I've tried typing with nails
It slowed me down, too. I felt like a cat with a piece of tape stuck on my finger . And what a drag that is, because I really love the look of a new French manicure .
Everytime I think of getting tips on my nails...
I think about what it would be like trying to type with them.
Ha! We did pizza last night..so, it's leftovers.

Question regarding long nails. (sm)
I just got nails put on last week and am having a difficult time getting used to them. If you have long nails, do you type with the tips of your nails or your fingertips? My nails are not very long at all, but it seems like they are hitting the wrong keys and I'm constantly having to back up and fix mistakes plus my wrist is starting to hurt.
Any ideas besides removing them? I'd like to give it a little more time to see if I can adjust.
Thanks.
I know if my nails are too long it slows me
.
Maybe use those "diamonds" they put on manicured nails......nm

2 bucks for pizza...usually $5 for hair cut...nm
its separate from hair and nails
is around 40k a year. Thats the highest ive made as an MT. You need a license, go through state board, and there are several schools throughout the US. Just do a search on "aesthetic or esthetic schools"
It is FRIDAY - Pizza night! nm

Guess you'll have to come to my house for pizza!
Just finished canning 30 pints of pizza sauce from my homegrown tomatoes, peppers, basil, garlic, oregano and husband grows the onions. Husband and his brothers own a large crop farm so can and freeze lots of veggies. Also made salsa last week. Almost always make my own pizza anymore because of the artificial color problem. Haven't quite perfected it though (that pizzeria taste) but have got the crust almost "right". Would be happy to share my recipe for dough. Also sincere the in the shoulder if you need one- would be willing to share email address to correspond.
Ezcema is such a bummer!! I have several nephews (husbands side of the family) with it. Was worse for them when they were younger and has definitely gotten better now that they are older teens now. Food allergies did seem to be a culprit for them. Can you believe that when my daughter was totally covered all summer with hives that I went to my mother in law and asked her if anyone in the family had any allergies that she knew of because I was totally at a loss, immediately she said no without a thought. (Couldn't be anyone in "her family"). Then after I almost killed my daughter with Amoxicillian (strep throat), Gatorade, cough syrup (cold/cough), Benadryl (hives) and Advil (fever) (all of which have red dye which she is most allergic to) and her face and throat swelled up the mother in law suddenly remembered her sister stops breathing if she has artifical food colors. Golly gee thanks for your help. Her sister has food allergies and so do the nephews thanks for thinking of your granddaughter.
This keyboard good if you have long nails....sm
I'm a former typing teacher. I used to use an ergonomic keyboard because I had the fake fingernails. It is actually easier to type on this kind of keyboard with longer nails. Now that I am back to biting them down to bits of nothing, I use a regular keyboard again. You can get used to it pretty quickly if you keep at it, though.
So what part of your fingers or nails hit the keyboard? sm
the nails or do you flatten out your hand so your fingertips hit the keys? This is very strange to me and I just can't get the hang of it. My production is going downnnnnn
I tried it on my toe nails. It was easy to use and lasted over a week.

my dad swallowed 2 nails while working and had to have an EGD to remove them. nm

Leftover delivery pizza from last night, heated in sm

Wood-fired brick oven pizza. nm

Pizza or grilled cheese...church tonight for me.

$2 pizza, not do hairstylist as family does; but what about those Sonic car hopers? sm
i usually don't with sonic as they make minimum wage but have heard of some that do so i "occasionally" do depending if close to payday or not, lol, but those girls are getting snoody when you don't.
Day Labor/ Temp Agencies/pizza delivery
You only asked for meal advice.. I just wanted to tell you about these places in case you didn't know. Every city usually has several "day labor" companies. Your dh would have to arrive around 5-6 am, they would take him to a site all day. They usually pay the same day. He would need is license and ss card.
Most temp agencies have jobs immediately available too.
Another idea is to deliver pizza at night. He could still do real estate during the day. He would get cash right away. They pay for gas mileage, at least minimum wage, he would get tips, and PIZZA! :-)
Hubbie's birthday...pizza, salad, but the most important thing

All kinds of cool stuff gets under the nails. Ask forensic scientists.
on workers who have direct patient care - they must have their own nails.
Lots of cases where babies in NICU got sick from the nurse's nails. nt
Goggle Soft Paws, little rubber caps you glue over the nails.

On Survivor, they eat rice or corn for days or weeks. They win a reward and eat pizza, greasy

I love it too - love doing my nails 5 hours a day and staying awake
Love NOT getting paid while sitting doing my nails too. It's a real turn on.
I tell all my friends to try it -- sit in front of your computer while you have no money to pay your rent and instead do your nails, you get a real buzz down in the pit of your stomach.
It's taco night! (again.....) We had taco pizza last night, southwestern chicken soup before th
Maybe I'll just have a salad.
