"Deserve" SS?

It's your money going into SS. SS is not a government handout. It belongs to you/me/we/us/them. It is absolutely an entitlement for those who wish to get some of their money back. Why do you think you're paying into it (well other than to loan money to the government)? WE support SS and the government, not the other way around. Rest of this and the OP issue too long to respond to at the moment, but wanted to chime in on that SS issue.
