If it was going to make me more money, I would take the exam too if it was significant.  I agree that it is just a piece of paper, but that can be said about a lot of things in life.  If you want to do it, by all means.

I have had a little trouble getting in touch with them at times, but I have pelted them with enought e-amils and usually get some sort of response.  In my experience 2-4pm EST is a good time to call.
