my parents were not "normal" parents...my dad was a biker, my mom a firefighter. My dad was (is) a bit of a womanizer, had many different girlfriends, etc. Don't get me wrong, he's the best dad a girl could ask for as far as being there for me, providing for me, came to all my games, supported anything I wanted to do (without spoiling, i had to work for it) but if I was his age (and not his daughter) I would never want to date him LOL!
I never thought about that though. When we first married I used to pick a lot of fights over things that were meaningless (i finally grew out of that!) and I even threatened to leave a few times (and then got mad when he wouldn't chase after me, definitely childish, i know).
I'm starting to think maybe some therapy would help. Or maybe I just need a good slap in the face and a wake up call LOL.
