Another possible recall.
Thanks for posting that info. That is a terrible thing.

I just caught the tail end of this story yesterday on the local news. I'm not sure if it is a full recall or just a warning but there is a hazard with some type of Simplicity baby basinets and cribs. I guess the area is too large for standards and the childs head can get stuck and suffocate in the mattress. I haven't had the opportunity to research and find out the full details but just jotted down what I could quickly.
As I recall
what is normal is to begin visits to OB/GYN when menstruation begins.

Girls start menstruating at the average age of 12. However, girls can begin menstruating as early as 8 years of age or as late as 16 years of age.

Toy recall - please read.

not that i recall, curious, is this
a case in your family or on a report you did?
What peanut recall?
So guess I'm good to go.

I suppose that's what I get for turning off the news because sick of petty politics. Something really important and I miss it. HA HA HA

But I'm still here and breathing. My only peanut item I eat is natural peanut butter.
Don't want to be rude, but I don't recall mentioning
makeup, fingernail polish or the like. He also takes a shower daily because he likes to smell nice. Don't know what kind of soap he likes and really don't care.  I'm just very proud that I raised a man who takes pride in his appearance and wants to smell nice for his lady.
An Analogy: The Pet Food Recall
Most if not all of you have by now heard of the massive pet food recall due to wheat gluten used in canned/pouch pet food that came from China.  I wasn't affected becuase I stick to dry foods, and because of health problems I have to feed my animals a very good product by Natura called California Natural - they use very few ingredients and what they use is human grade.  I went to their web site and they have a video about the pet food recall.  Turns out the company involved in the recall, Menu Foods, does make some of their canned products - I was not happy hearing this since I have such faith in them - but since Natura does not use wheat gluten in any of their food none of the recalled stuff affected theirs and anyway theirs is made in another Menu Foods plant location from the one with the Chinese wheat gluten.  But it doesn't stop there.  For now they are sending their own quality control person the plant that does produce food for them, and they are going to look into purchasing a plant of their own to produce the canned/pouch foods here in the US.  Also, from now on they will only use ingredients that are from the US.  Looks like they are doing the right thing.
From what I recall from my banking days -
It sounds like you had overdraft protection in place, which means the bank will cover the checks (usually up to a certain amount), but you will owe them fees. They have cleared those checks. No one outside of the bank has any idea there was not enough money in the account to cover them. Be very, very glad you had that service in place! Otherwise, you would owe a lot of money to each person you wrote a check to and could have been put on a list where they will not accept checks from you. Right now I would say to contact the bank to ask about paying off those fees with them.
Royal Canin - recall
Some Royal Canin foods have been recalled, including dry dog foods.

My sister's dogs started having same symptoms you are describing about 1 month before the recall became known, and switching the food fixed the problem. She never looked into whether it was a recalled food, for some reason.

I would put hte puppy back on his original food and then slowly introduce a new food that does not contain any of the problem ingredients. There was a recent thread about foods that are safe.

You do know about the recall on wetting solution
that is causing blindness for contact wearers? I do not know the name of it but can probably google. By the way, I have heard using honey can alleviate allergies. I just heard that now, but worth a try if I had them.
sorry but I don't recall asking for personal opinion
no offense, but I was just asking those with experience on the subject.
It was a peanut butter recall.

Nutro Dry Cat Food Recall
On 05/21/2009, a recall was issued for various varieties of Nutro dry cat food.  This is for all 50 states and I believe 11 countries.  Please check the FDA website for recall information in case links are not allowed here.    The food has excess zinc and not enough potassium.
As I recall, MOST of my family's photos were
awkward! Maybe I should just send them all of our entire albums!

You do know Royal Canin is on recall list, right??

Hard to recall, probabably 10-15 pounds -sm
in my first pregnancy, was borderline pre-eclamsia, BP was jumping all about at the end, lots of water weight. Daughter ended up being induced as they did not want to take any chances. Did not have that issue the 2nd time.
Scary stuff, but I don't recall seeing any nudity
nm
Yes, recalled in 2007. This is a new recall, May, 2009. sm

Nutro was recalled during the huge 2007 pet food recalls.  This is a new 2009 recall involving the premix formulation in some of their dry cat food.  I use Wellness, Nature's Variety, and Newman's Own canned cat foods.

Actually, I recall my brother and cousin being drafted for Vietnam
and they served 18 month "tours". They were actually in the army longer, but were in Vietnam for 18 months when they were drafted. I'm sure they would have rather not done that extra 6 months!

My father, his brother, and their contemporaries in World War II, however, were drafted for "the duration". They weren't coming home until the war was over. My dad said it was one heck of an incentive to fight hard. It makes me cry to think of my gentle, kind father in that situation.
