don't have such high expectations. she is either your friend or she is not...unconditionally. If you know that she is going to *forget*, call her the day of the party or go and get her...include her in the party plans, maybe, and maybe she will not forget then. If this is really bothering you all that much, then maybe you should stop being *friends* with her. Maybe she is just not all that concerned with what is going on in other people's lives, as she is with what is going on in her life. If you have high expectations of how another person should act all the time, you are bound to end up disappointed. especially when you already know she has a problem with remembering things that are important to YOU. Move past this...life is too short.
