Well, according to their website WE DID get the most votes by over 100,000. So....
I'm not sure how Lockport was declared the winner. Anyhow, YES, we are so blessed to have been given this MRI.
Every Indian in America must be slamming votes for this kid. It's the only thing that
stinks. Sundance sang circles around that kid. It had to have been a planned thing. Something just wreaks about the whole thing.
They should take away public voting and go back to judges votes and they should
like 6 so then it's more fair. Randy calls it like it is, Paula can never say the truth is someone isn't very good, and Simon while I agree with him most of the time is rather vile.
Too many people felt sorry for Jane & Marie and gave them votes ..
so they wouldn't be eliminated, figuring the other dancers were too good to be eliminated. I agree it's too much of a popularity contest and not a dancing competition. On "Skating with the Stars" I think it was Kristy Swanson who fell in love with her teacher/partner, and he left his wife for her and now the two have a baby together.
That is encouraging
I am having a hard time fitting in fruits and vegetables and eating more popcorn, there frozen meals, etc. I am afraid that the lack of eating the fresh fruits and veggies will keep me from losing. I will Google that 3fatchicks. Thanks!
That was encouraging. Thanks.
xx
from all of us hefties, thanks for encouraging.
I know you are right. I used to have such self-discipline, but maybe not anymore. One thing about that calorieking too, is that you can try it for a week and get you money back if you don't like it. It seems closer to the 'no fad' 'plus exercise' ideas. If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take you to lose 11 lbs? I want to pattern myself some realistic goals. thanks.
Thanks for the encouraging word.
Sasha is at the oncologist right now, getting a dose of chemo for lymphoma. The biggest worry was that her calcium was up at 18, but they got it down where they could give her the chemo.
Hopefully she will respond well.
Cedric is so depressed about her being away that he wouldn't eat this morning. He got up on my bed and tried to wrestle with me.
Encouraging Thoughts Here
The police called Social Services because they had to. However, your response to Social Services is what will either end it or have it drag on.
You've done nothing wrong. Try to keep remembering that, but remember it from a position of confidence, not defensiveness.
Also, you will have to follow up on every time your husband has violated the restraining order.
Quiet calm confidence will see you through this. And a clean house, LOL! Best wishes!
Thank you for your encouraging and kind words! :-)
They truly helped.
Thank you for the kind and encouraging posts.
I really do feel a lot better. And the mail box thing? Gulp.................... I never thought of that. I do actually put the cards in the mail boxes. You are so right that I should not do that, but it never dawned on me til a poster mentioned it. The little gifts are in gift bags and I hang them on the outside of the mail boxes or lamp posts at the end of the driveways, so at least I'm safe on that one. And thanks for the poster who suggested a nursing home next year. You are so right - my kids actually do that once a month, and they went caroling at a few this year. I used to go, too, but got super upset by it. I'd like to take them all home with me. But you're so right and I definitely will do that the next holiday - which one do I have to look forward to? Valentine's Day? Take care, you all. As for the negative posters, I guess they represent that there are always a few in every neighborhood who are ugly in spirit. I'm fine with that as well. I feel sorry for them and hope their issues change so they can be happy. Must be a joy to live with, but then again, they might be very nice in person - just the internet anonymity. I'll choose to believe that theory. Merry Christmas everyone!
Maybe FOREVER! That's encouraging. Don't want HRT and physician
said long term HRT is a thing of the past, which I didn't know. Now, they only give them for 3-6 months. Mine went away for a couple of months, but back again, 15-20 a day, but no night sweats. I thought this stuff only lasted a year or so.
This is an amazingly encouraging very short video (sm)

I like her far better than Phil.....nm
What would Dr. Phil say?
We teach people how to treat us, so stop telling people to treat you like a doormat. I know this can be very hard to change, but I did it myself a few years ago with my own situation. People were not happy at first, but guess what? They got over it and now I am treated the way I deserve. Life is too short for this stuff! Best of luck to you.
I think it is Dr. Phil who says
that use of sarcasm and lack of respect for ones spouse is the biggest risk factor for divorce.
It sounds like your husband thinks he is a lot smarter and busier than you are, so he's saying you are taking up too much of his time or take too long to say things that he already knows or aren't of any importance.
So he is definitely not your friend and he won't even pretend to respect you. He yells in anger. Your children are witnessing all of this.
(He'd fit right in at Dr. Phil's Man Camp).
Talk to your pastor or other counselor at church and ask them what to do. You need counseling to repair your self-esteem, and he definitely needs Christian counseling, because he is not treating you the way the Bible tells a man to treat his wife.
Punxatawney (?sp) Phil
didn't see his shadow - spring is just around the corner!
I would think Dr. Phil & Oprah would have
covered these topics. They might even have that sort of information on their websites. Your mother might believe them over these men. Or undoubtedly Reader's Digest. If one of my parents were acting like this I'd seriously think they were getting something like Alzheimers, losing their good judgement.
I don't get to watch Dr. Phil much, but I did --sm
happen to see the same show you are talking about. It was VERY eye opening. I felt so bad for the woman who was involved with this scammer. It is much the same as women who get *involved* with men in prison. All these men want is money and they do not care who they get it from.
Even if the mom has no money, he does not care. His *anger* is just a ploy to make her feel guilty. I can guarantee that he has no son, he is not who he says he is, and he is probably in the middle east somewhere, as I do believe the man on Dr. Phil was in the middle east and tried to pass off his accent as from somewhere else. Please don't be too hard on your mom. She is vulnerable and *love smit*, but she needs to know the truth. Perhaps contact the Dr. Phil show and they may send a tape of that show, or he may have some personal advice for her. Good luck.
Any Dr. Phil fans out there?
He came to our town several weeks ago to help kick of the Toys for Tots campaign. Some of that will be featured on his show today.
You need Dr. Phil, not a bunch of MTs.
Your husband has big problems.
Have you been on Dr. Phil? I swear I saw this on his show.
Stand up for yourself. Stop caterting to this man. Give him a dose of his own medicine. Do for only you and your children, and I mean, cooking, cleaning, etc. And if your family likes him, so what, they dont have to live with him.
anybody looking forward to todays Dr. Phil???
cant wait, mine comes on in 1 hour...central time..
Dr. Phil would say to lock the door.
If they knock, you ask if their hair is on fire. If it's not, then you tell them it can wait.
He's actually talking about interruptions of something else, but I thought of his advice anyway.
No experience at all with this, just what I saw on a Dr. Phil one time -
He said when you can walk away knowing you have turned over every stone you could and feel that nothing else can be done and you have no regrets whatsoever, you are ready for a divorce.
Not the OP, but I can't stand Oprah or Dr. Phil and
s
Dr. Phil had a segment on this yesterday sm
He had a segment how wrong it is to do this to your children. It was his first show he ever did. He said the mom is doing so much better since his show. He is bringing back some of his most favorite shows.
Dr. Phil DID cover this very topic a few months ago...
and there was a guy who supposedly went to Africa and needed all this money to eat, get out of prison, get home to see this woman he was chatting with and told he loved so much. She fell for the whole thing until Dr. Phil exposed the whole story on his show and had other women there who had also fallen for this guy and sent him money. I don't know if you can get a DVD of the show or not, but it might be worth it to try.
Eek, can't stand Phil and his googly eyes.
Phil Spector murder trial. Anyone
been watching that on Court TV? Don't you think Phil Spector, with his "new hair do", looks like Pee Wee Herman???? LOL.
They have been off for the past 2 days due to one of the defense lawyers having to go to the hospital. Kind of interesting to watch trials on T.V.
Don't care for Phil or Oprah, never watch them. nm

Phil Spector did an album many moons ago with SM
the Ronettes, Shirelles and others, in that great Phil Spector way, which is my favorite. All good songs, Frosty the Snowman, Winter Wonderland. Makes me feel happy.
Yes, I know Phil is nuts, but the album (cd) is great.
If it were me, I would go to Dr. Phil Mcgraw web site and email him. See what he would suggest.
.
Agree with you, and what's up with Phil Stacey's eye brows? Creepy! nm
