I have had them and all they found was that I had extra beats. I had the ENT testing, ear pressure, etc., but could not do the chair thing as I have claustrophobia and they put you in a revolving chair in a small, round darkened room. I could not do that, couldn't go in the door. I think part of mine is claustrophobia as I'm also petrified of closed spaces and can't do an MRI. I have had two MRI's ordered of my back and when they called to confirm and said it had to be closed with dye, I cancelled the appt. I did faint once in Kohl's department store but by the time rescue got to me, I refused treatment but was talked into going to the ER by my son and they discovered the abnormal EKG. I can feel for you. I now worry about passing out, as this has happened twice, once while shopping and once when I was totally stressed from the job plus taking care of two sick parents and when I got some added bad news on the phone about something, the room started spinning and I went down and totally out. I feel "nuts" talking about it but want to help anyone else going through it. Otherwise, I am very healthy, productive, active, but worry about fainting now, since there is no control, you can find yourself "going" but can't do anything to stop it. They told me to lie flat and elevate my feet if it happens again, but how do you do this in the middle of a department store? I feel for you. When the phone thing happened, they said it was vasovagal. The department store thing they thought was abnormal heart rhythm. It's disconcerting for sure.
