Separation papers were signed yesterday! Thank you to everyone for pushing me to make the decision. What followed was a visit to my pastor, visit to a women's advocate center, visit to an attorney, keeping a journal, him finding the journal and getting freaked out, and us making a separation agreement, which is now signed. It takes a year in our state for a divorce to become final.

and had to have four operations just to get pregnant, I had severe polycystic ovarian disease all my life, the tears we both shed were unbelievable, but we would have gone on to adoption....thankfully, the last-distch operation which was risky worked and I got pregnant and had my daugher that same year (although I had a stroke with the pregnancy and a postpartum hemmorrhage where I almost went bye=bye), but I adore these kids even more, the two sons I had after Ashley were miracles, too. My friend who endured years of IVF was so SICK from all the meds and shots, she gained lots of weight, had horrible cramping at times, was nauseaous most of the time, and all she wanted was one healthy baby to love. As I said, she adopted finally, it took 2-1/2 years for it to go through, and THEN she spontaneously got pregnant and gave birth. So many stories like this!
