over the years has become less and less attractive to me, which I think has a lot to do with the fact that he seems to think he is so hot. The whole adulterous affair with Angelina Jolie and his splitting with Jennifer Aniston has really sealed it . . . just really is not attractive at all to me anymore (but I confess that there was a time when I thought he was as hot as he thinks he is -- LOL)

on Oprah years ago - whatever happens, happens! And because of that Brad chose Angelina one day because of the terms on the their marriage. But when it did happen, Jennifer was completely devastated and didn't actually believe that Brad would find someone else.
I, on the other hand, don't believe that things just "happen." I belive in committment and wouldn't "welcome" anything else. I would be devastated if after so many years my husband decided I wasn't the one he wanted to be with.
To each his own and I respect your opinion, either way.

last night....he is not as interested in acting anymore, but for an occasional film every few years he said - he was right there in the 9th Ward for this interview....he is going to rebuild the 9th Ward and possibly ALL the levees.......
I never cared all that much for him as an actor but politically - I think he's terrific! Bless you, Brad Pitt.....

I'm approaching 50 and my hair is waist length. Like Patti, I don't look or act my age and people are surprised when they learn my age.
I will, however, never forget being in New Orleans and sitting at a bar next to a man who was a hair stylist who told me I was too old to wear my hair that long. He thought I should cut it to just at my shoulders, and honestly, it probably looks better that way...BUT, I love my long hair, and he was an admitted "tri-sexual" (when I asked what that was, he said he would try anything!!!) lol!

And I wondered what they were doing there, especially when they weren't really featured very much on subsequent episodes.
If the entire purpose of that episode was just to give us background on Ben's plan to coerce Jack into operating on him, that's old news. Sure, Nikki and Paolo are nice to look at, but having an entire show about them was a waste of time IMO - unless they have some unforeseen influence on an upcoming event, which would mean that they would have to be rescued SOON.
It's a shame, so far I have enjoyed ever episode of the second half of this season, each more than the last, until now......
Just back into the dating scene - question (sm)
I have recently gotten back into the dating scene and met a nice guy (online) who lives locally. We have emailed back and forth and he is very nice to talk to. But when I met him recently I realized there was no attraction - at all. But he really likes me. Would it be better for me to just say right now that I am not interested or should I keep talking to him and gradually slow down how much I talk to him? Can I tell him I just want to be friends? I feel like a teenager again! I don't want to hurt his feelings.

Would like to show these legs but
ladies, come on now, who has a good remedy for OMG, that dreaded cellulite. I would not be showing these ole legs except for the fact I have to take some recommended water aerobics for my fibromyalgia and cover as much as I can but wish I could wear a mu-mu. Any ideas out there. Hey, by the way, do not want to hear about using used coffee grounds. Heard you could mix those with body oil and smear on legs. What a mess- did not work and then had that mess in my shower to boot!!
Restless legs, anyone
I'm heading out for two 8-hour days of driving on vacation, as a passenger. I've got RLS, and have had a real problem with this. It feels like I have to stretch and move my legs especially when I have to sit still. Other than stopping every few hours and walking around, anybody have any ideas how I can manage this on the trip?

Hm... dont know if this will help or not... but i had this same thing happening and i invested in a really good chair that tilts forward a little to take the pressure off of the back of the legs... it helped me a ton!

After your shower, elevate legs
and rub lotion into your feet. The massaging action with your feet elevated really moves the blood out of them that collects during a warm shower.

Anyone else get sore legs and muscle tightness and leg pain when
walking and pulling tendons a certain way with walking from sitting and holding your legs fixed when working. I think I tend to stiffen up my legs. I expect some amount of tendonitis is going on.

Yes, you can do this yourself. Go for it. IF you want an overall lighter color go for it. Make sure you read the box about if your hair is dark it will look like this or if your hair is this dark we do not recommend. I would also even recommend going to a Sallys Beauty Supply. They can help you as well. I used to do hair for a living before MTing.

Hey go for it. Anything that looks good, do it. I always wear my hair short because it looks the best. Looking back at pictures I have almost the same haircut that I had at age 21 but am not trying to recreate that age it just looks the best on my. My great nephews, ages 20 to 8, always tell me that there is no way I am almost the same age as their grandmother (my sister 3 years older) because she is old and I am not and I think it is because I act, dress and think young. I don't wear mini's but my legs are one of my best assets and so I wear knee length skirts and heels many times and it makes me feel good. Even if you wanted to wear a beehive -- now I am showing my age -- do it if it makes you feel good. I envy those gals with longer hair but I am small boned and small facial features and it just overwhelms me. But a lot of older actresses have long hair and it looks good.

I have really dry hair both because of my middle age and putting dye on it at home. I've tried most otc products but nothing really seems to get it soft and healthy looking. Anyone have any tried and true products, like a deep treatment type of conditioner that really works?

It is definitely not good to wash hair every day.
Because you strip the hair of the essential oil and then the follicles produce again oil, the hair gets oily very fast and you have to wash it again.
This becomes a vicious cycle.
The more often you wash your hair, the faster it gets oily.
Try to use 'dry shampoo' in between, until your hair gets less oily.
Get a dog with hair, not fur- sm
Find out what breeds have hair, I know poodles are one, I think there are one or two others but not sure. He would not be allergic to a dog with hair though, if so then he is allergic to people too. There are standard size poodles (large) or miniature poodles.
I have used it in my hair, but not to eat.

Highlights, lowlights, gray coverage or all out Platinum blonde.

I bought one of those kits the other day that has the base color and the extra highlighting kit too. I am going for the medium to dark brown (which is my natural color) with "Caramel Glaze" highlights. My hair naturally has alot of underlying red tones so I have to be careful what color I choose or I end up looking like Lucille Ball. (not that red is a bad thing) I just don't want to be the next "Carrot Top" LOL.
Anybody else out there about to do a color change? opinions?

Had beautiful brown hair with natural red highlights, talked into blond highlighting, now go every 3 mos for cut and color but prices are being ridiculously increased to over $110 for this service, $45 for the cut and $65 for partial - more for full highlight. I am scared to do this alone, as I don't want to look like a "skunk" and the highlighting makes me feel better, as I'm getting older. Another subject - as you get older, people treat you like you're taking up space on the planet - rude. I don't intend to go gray. Is keeping the brown and putting in my onw highlights a fairy tale, is it that difficult? Can't imagine how I'll see in the mirror to do it alone!!! Can't afford it anymore. I think the stylist is planning to raise her prices and it will be over $150 for the whole head!
