I went to bed feeling pretty out of sorts and wake up to check this and now I feel I am NOT alone, have people out there just like me. I can try to accept me for me and not feel the need to change now! I know the family out thing is my savior. I LOVE my kids and spending time with everyone together makes me feel so connected and back to healthier spirits. Our kids are 7 years apart and when the youngest was 5 and under I struggled to get things we all can do but now with them being 12 & 19 I can kind of find common ground. I just starting looking to plan for a summer vacation to South Dakota to see the "faces." Found things like mild rock climbing, kayaking, and horseback riding. I think I will walk right up to hubby now and tell him just how different we are and that is okay. There are days when people tell me I am so lucky to do this at home and I feel no I am NOT that lucky because looking up new recipes, keeping up on photo albums do not replace human contact. My town it is so small everyone knows your business and being the shy person I am I hate to volunteer as I feel I would get judged on everything I do and God forbid I screw up as then my name is Mud. I have to drive at least 25 minutes to take a class or do a hobby worth doing. I enjoy my neighbor's company but she is moving when the economy shapes up. Oh well here I go again digging my hole. I may just be back spilling my guts after I tell the hubby of our differnces. Wish me luck and THANKS again for showing me a new perspective.
