Okay, so basically I came on here to vent again!  LOL  So, after the contractors were basically bathing in our pool and sitting on our vehicles and leaving about 20 nails and lunch trash and vinyl siding on our front doorstep....

Today, they were to send out another crew of 2 guys, instead of the original 5.  The owners wife was to come to supervise all day.  So, they show up about 11:30 with their kids and the wife and her two friends all hanging out in my yard...okay fine at least shes supervising....She then proceeded to sunbath in the backyard while smoking about 3 packs of ciggerettes...um, okay..then, you guessed it, left all those butts all over our yard!!  She also never apologized to me personally.  Later in the day, my window is cracked and I can hear her over my typing, so I stop to listen.  LOL  She is complaining loudly on her cell phone how she has to babysit all day because the renters b*tched about the pool.  She was also saying it was only a 1000 galloon pool, so who gives a crap, whats the problem!?!  The pool is actually a 16' pool.  My feelings are that it does not matter if it is a baby pool or an inground pool you do not go to someones house and wash the sweat and dirt off at the end of the day in their pool!

Let me know what you all think!  Do you think I was being too hard on them having a problem with this?  Ugh one more day of work left for them to finish I think.  I'll have to see what happens tomorrow.

I really appreciate everyone's advice regarding my son and what I should or shouldn't do.  We have had a really interesting weekend.  Not fun interesting.  There was a football game this weekend so he was busy Friday night and Saturday and Sunday he had free.  I offered to let him come home for the day but he didn't want to.  That was fine. 

We went about our day and something told me something was wrong.  Mother's intuition I guess.  He took his car (which is our car that we are making payments on and paying the insurance on and is in our name) and drove it through one pretty darn big city without our permission to his girlfriend's college 2-1/2 hours away to see her on a Sunday afternoon.  It is his car to drive but we had already told him that we were not ready for him to drive that trip.  The car would be signed over to him when and only when he successfully completes college.  We have told him two or three times since school started that he was not to make that drive.  Since he knew we would say no, he just did it. 

Well I texted him a twice and he didn't answer me. My husband texted him a twice and he didn't answer him.  About two hours later he answered.  So when I got home he texted me with this elaborate story of where he was about to go and why he would be out of pocket for awhile.  Alarms went up.  I called him and asked if he was in his room.  He said yes.  I asked him to get on his computer.  He gave me a cock-n-bull story about being on his roommates computer.  I said get on your own.  I see his girlfriend's messenger name sign off immediately. He said what do you want me to do.  I said I want you to log on your screen name.  He told me that his computer wasn't working, he'd have to restart.  Meanwhile I could see while he was restarting his away message was still there.  He restarted.  I said I want you on your screenname.  He signed on.  I said, OK I want you to put up your "I'm in calculus message" (knowing he couldn't duplicate it).  He tried bless his heart but I knew where he was. 

I asked him if that is where he was.  No mom.  I asked him if his roommate was there.  He said no (previously he had said he was there).  I said if I'm wrong I am going to owe you a real big apology but I want you to find a payphone and call me from it.  Figuring I could figure out by the area code if he was lying or I was wrong.  He said OK.  Well immediately I could tell he knew he was caught.  I handed the phone to his dad who he admitted it to.  His dad is going to get the car tonight.

I am so upset.  I am not mad.  I am disappointed.  If he had told me the truth right when I asked I would have been a little disappointed and a little proud of him for stepping up to the plate.  He is going to at the very least not have a car for the rest of the semester, and I am pretty sure he won't do that again.  We called the girlfriend's parents to let them know what happened too.  We know them fairly well and I felt that they needed to know.  She doesn't have a car because they don't want her driving to where he is. 

You can have one will from one departed person per beneficiary...

If Anna had 7 wills for Daniel from herself, they have to go by the latest dated one.........

So anyone interested in gossip should check out tmz.com.  They interviewed 3 guys who were in the car with her, and according to them she jumped in a car that wasn't hers that had the 3 guys in it, ran over a guy's foot, chased another vehicle at about 100 mph, said that she could do whatever she wanted because she was a celebrity, circled the car numerous times, lost that car, and then chased another vehicle all the way to the police station.  She supposedly ran numerous red lights and stop signs and obviously could have killed any number of people!

Then to top it off she supposedly tells the police "The black guy was driving."  How horrible.  Zero respect for her now.  I will never watch another one of her movies.  I hope they throw the book at her!  She's obviously a danger and should not have been let out on bail imo.  (kam) 

Not a whole lot of new information, just mostly confirmation of things that are already known, like yes, Desmond's failure to reset the computer was the cause of the airplane crash and later when Desmond turned the key it did temporarily make the island visible so Penny knows about it - but they didn't follow up on that. This is my guess - but presumably the ship that the woman who parachuted onto the island is trying to contact was sent by Penny.

They touched on the idea of the interconnectedness of these people but very lightly - just hinted that there was something that brought this particular group of people together. Interestingly, they didn't say anything at all about the people from the tail section, but the show that was run last night was only 45 minutes because Grey's Anatomy ran 15 minutes over. The one that will be shown next Wednesday is a full hour - I'm going to watch that, too.

The main thing (as far as I'm concerned) is they reiterated that this is not purgatory or anything like that, everyone is actually alive, but they said they are....let me think....."somewhere in the space-time continuum."

There's a conflict brewing between the Bahama PD and John Travolta's camp regarding the time line of Jett Travolta's death.

People who are with Travolta are bristling at the suggestion Jett might have been left unattended for more than 10 hours, but this morning cops say they are sticking to their story. Meanwhile, we've learned Jett had suffered from grand mal seizures in the past and had taken anti-seizure medicine which the Travolta's say did not work, so the medication was stopped.

As for the time line, we're told Jett, his family and his two nannies had been boating on January 1. They returned to their townhouse at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel at around 6 PM. Jett was tired, went into his bedroom and went to sleep.

We're told nanny Jeff Kathrein watched TV in the adjoining room. The other nanny, Eli, returned to the townhouse at around 11:30 PM. Both Jeff and Eli turned in at around that time. After Jeff got up, he went into the bathroom and discovered Jett laying on the floor.

As for when Jett was last seen, cops say it was the at around 11:30 the night of January 1, when he went to the bathroom. Michael McDermott, John Travolta's lawyer and close friend, says Eli or Jeff may have gone into that bathroom during the middle of the night so the time frame would have been compressed.

McDermott also tells TMZ when Jeff and John Travolta administered CPR there may have been signs of life -- as in there may have been some respiratory function -- though that is not confirmed.

We're told Jett's disabilities included the inability to communicate well, in addition to some physical disabilities. As a result, there was a baby monitor in his room as well as a chime on the bathroom door. It's unclear if the two nannies slept through any signs of movement. The townhouse is relatively small -- around 1,000 square feet -- and the nannies and Jett were all on the bottom floor.

McDermott told us it's not unusual for Jett to sleep 12, even 16 hours a day, so Jett not being present is not unusual.

As for cause of death, the coroner will presumably determine that tomorrow.

As for John Travolta and Kelly Preston, McDermott tells us "they stopped crying long enough last night to try to write a press statement, which they haven't finished."

The poor kid told a supervisor and another employee, obviously concerned about her mistake, and they okayed the serving of the meat anyway. 

Hope some hot shot lawyer comes to her aid.  This is beyond ridiculous. 

Gee, maybe we should all have food servers arrested the next time they put onions on our burgers if we ask for NO ONIONS! 

Where is that guy who follows the NY cops around filming them when they break the law in the course of duty?!    Hope he picks up on this one.

I love that show.  I think it is a great reality show that helps others.  If you saw it last week do you think Oprah will help the family that was promised money for funeral costs and the guy did not come through for the family.  I think so. 

Was that a total tearjerker today on her show with the puppy mills?  I just recently found out about puppy mills as I was trying to adopt a cocker spaniel from a rescue that deals with cockers.  I had to fill out a long application.  They checked a lot of references, called my previous vet, previous groomer, etc. Then they had to do a home visit. The lady that did the home visit told me some very sad stories about a puppy mill where they went in at night and tried to rescue some dogs away from the place.  She rescued one that only weighed 5 pounds that they used to breed. How sick are these places.  She said that the Amish- are very well known for this. She told me of a story that a man through a alive dog in a Goodwill bin because he was done with the breeding process and thank God the next day a worker heard the poor thing crying.  I rescued 2 cockers and could not be happier.  I do not know where they came from but they are so loving. I think the government needs to get involved and shut these places down. They are breeding thousands of dogs and meanwhile we are killing hundreds a day all over the US. Does that make any sense? Please no one buy from a PET STORE.  If you want a pet go to PETFINDER.COM and look up the breed, you want and you will see pictures of all kinds in all the US. 

Any experiences with this.  I am having a great time.

Did you order the 'The Secret' DVD?  I've been thinking about ordering it.  What have you been doing that's fun?  Care to share?   

It's an interesting CD and I really like the theory behind it, which has been around forever if you think about it. What I didn't like was all the emphasis on material things, wealth, money, etc.  To me it seemed that was the focus of the CD whereas on the show the panel focused on many other types of issues besides just getting wealthy.

Of course she has flaws and maybe some annoying personality traits, but it's all about intention imo, and I believe she is intending to change this world for the better, and she is succeeding!  Everyone has a right to their opinion, but before throwing stones at such a great humanitarian, why not take a look at yourself and ask what you've done to better the world lately.  I'm sure Oprah could name a few things off the top of her head!

She has stated numerous times that she has no interest in running for any type of political office, so don't worry your pretty little heads about it!  If she ever ran I think she would have a good shot just because she lives her life pretty openly and doesn't seem to have anything to hide (she might even give too much personal info on her show!), and she seems to have a good heart and really wants to help those less fortunate.  So many politicians scare me because they seem corrupt, and many are into shady business dealings.  Many seem to be in it just for the money, which she already has plenty of! -end pro-Oprah rant  (kam)

She is doing a show about divorce and how it affects children.  I think she'll have experts/psychologists on to talk about ways of explaining divorce to children to make it as least traumatic as possible.  Oprah always seems to get the best experts on her show, and usually they have written books that you could read too.  I think how you talk to your kids about the divorce has a huge impact, and some parents get so wrapped up in their own pain that they fail to really help the kids with their heartbreak, so I think it's great you are thinking about your son first thing.  So many times the kids think it is their fault for some reason.

My personal opinion is that sometimes it is better to get divorced if you are miserable, because just as we want our kids to be happy, they want us to be happy too.  But, I think you have to try with everything you have inside of you first to make the marriage work, so then you can leave knowing you did everything you could to try to save the relationship (unless it is abusive in any way).  I would highly recommend watching Oprah on Wednesday though.  It looks like it's going to be a very moving, informative hour.
