Sure didn't mean anything bad by that.. Hickerbilly is our family version of hillbilly and, trust me, it is a fun thing in our house. I don't know that generation has much to do with it. My family is full of "hickerbillies" and the same applies, regarding respect and manners. Some use "hillbilly" as a derogatory thing. I'm trying to think of a term that would fit the father of that child mentioned above.. how about ignorant? possibly bad parent? lol.
It really is sad for that child.
