I have a gorgeous blue merle Shetland sheepdog, and after we let "Blue" outside early this a.m. for bathroom purposes, my husband discovered later on, from the path of our dog's tracks in the snow, that he went to visit the beagles several yards (over an acre) to the left of us and then came back to our back deck door. We live in the country with no fences. I told my husband that I think Blue was congratulating the beagles on their fellow breed's win (LOL). Blue does not regularly go over there...
