re: Lowes

I don't doubt it, especially after what they did to my aunt.  She worked at a Lowes and was hurt on the job.  She was treated very badly, they caused delays in her treatment and she ended up permanently injured.  She had surgery, was given light duty by her physicians and the workmans' comp approved it.  Lowes refused to cooperate.    Anyway, can't go into a lot more detail because of legal issues.  She did sue, and she did win. 

As an aside regarding how they treat employees, while she was off having surgery on her neck (after a delay of nearly a year) her coworkers took get well card to the store manager to be signed.  He refused, saying it would be fraternizing and the other workers got in trouble for signing it, said it was against policy.  It has been 2 years since she was hurt.  I have not shopped at Lowes since. 

She was found to have lung cancer in June and passed away November 14th. 

So yes, I believe this about Lowes.
