I don't have my snowman, but I wish I did now.
At that time, I didn't feel the need, and now since she passed away a year ago, I wish I had it. Oh the memories. Hanging that decoration in my bedroom window as a child signified everything magical about Christmas. Those were the days!
Thanks! Yes, it was my mother's snowman.
It is hard plastic. It's been around about as long as I have. lol. When she died, my sisters and I split up her Christmas decorations and I got the snowman. Do you still have your snowman?
Christmas memories!
I had a reindeer just like the snowman
when I was a little girl. Would love to have it now. My jack russell sleeps like that. Just yesterday and I thought about taking her pic. and posting on this board. Fur-kids are just so great.

Abdominal pain...sm
Abdominal pain can be very difficult to assess, especially in women. I think that if you visited your physician, s/he would likely not even attempt a diagnosis without getting at least plain films and probably a CT scan.
First, these pains may not even be related. Second, it may be relevant whether they are related to your cycle, to meals, etc. For instance, the gallbladder theory posed by another reader is possible, but not as likely unless the symptoms are related to fatty food intake. Third, abdominal pain is famous for being "referred" from the source to other locations, masking the origins.
It seems that these symptoms have persisted and have become worrisome to you. Since they might represent any number of things from bowel to bladder to ovarian to...., the best advice is to "get thee to a doctor".
Any other symptoms? Abdominal pain?
Perhaps an imperforate hymen with hematocolpos?
Could it be some sort of abdominal migraine?
Anyone else ever seem to get GI problems when stressed out with these jobs. My abdominal area
actually feels sore or irritated.
I had surgery about 1-1/2 years ago and have a fairly long abdominal scar. I see now I am getting
a sore knot in 1 spot underneath the skin. My scar actually is hypertrophic so have had a lot of problems with it. Any suggestions. I am not enthused about cortisone shots in it.
Has anyone tried The Bean, abdominal exerciser? Effective? Worth the money?

Need advice. I had an operation 2 years ago for a Meckels and I had an abdominal incision instead
of laparoscopic and since then since I had a fairly large incision my stomach just sticks out much more than ever before as I am fairly small but am in my 50s. What can be done to help this as I expect cutting all those muscles didnt help at all.
Update: I am waiting for doc to schedule an abdominal CT for me - sent my husband a message saying
that they will be scheduling me for a CT today or tomorrow. His answer: 10-4, I hope you get your health in order. Exercise please.
I am having abdominal pain, back pain, bleeding, etc. but I guess if I exercise it will fix all that.
Oops, my bad. Sorry.

Oops, sorry, I see your
daughters had it last year so you already know all about taking care of it! Sorry, but for anyone else may be some help, and it did help to talk to the adminstrator at least in part. Another thing for anyone with a daughter with light blond hair, like mine had and still does, you can't see the nits real easy. She has enough hair for 10 people, kind of always a little joke between us because I'm always asking her to share some with me. The nit comb didn't work very well because her hair was so thick and nits hard to see in the light blonde hair, so I needed to hand pick the nits (why I'm such an excellent ~nit picker~ ) and slide them off, kind of partitioned her hair off in sections and went section by section, still gives me the creeps to this day, and that was quite a long time ago! I did feel sorry for those girls who came from a family like that, though, who didn't seem to care and a school administration who was clueless, I guess, to boot! I think many schools these days handle this kind of situation differently, though.

oops...
I do not look like his mom, but I act just like her - both read books all the time, take a travel light on our trips to keep reading at night, both watch the same TV shows, both dress in similiar ways, like the same kind of careers -
his whole family laughs that he just "married his mom"...

you have to be passing to go out and keep your grades passing to be able to play the whole season - maybe your school has this rule and would help with his grades for a couple months.

oops - it was 1932......sm
1932 - The Tuskegee Syphilis Study begins. 200 black men diagnosed with syphilis are never told of their illness, are denied treatment, and instead are used as human guinea pigs in order to follow the progression and symptoms of the disease. They all subsequently die from syphilis, their families never told that they could have been treated.
oh and at the link they think that AIDS might have gotten spread from the hepatitis B vaccine - I just read, oh too much information for me...YUCH...gonna check out different other links now.....

never was on hormones, had decided years ago not to take, was admonished by one physician in time past I should, so glad I didn't. As I knew, say in the 70s, hormones had some bad press in relation to cancer.
