I think it is bothering him, but not enough to address the situation - his SIL has been a trouble-maker where kids are concerned since 1989 when she came into the family - they weren't going to have kids - and then after 10 years of marriage and her biological clock started ticking away - they decided to have 1 and then another - both kids are nightmares because she has gone by the books instead of giving them a good ol' spanking - i mean they abuse her and their dad - hitting him in the nads, hitting her, one threw a flashlight and hit her in the head with it while she was driving - they are basically monsters - all because the parents chose to "reason with them instead of disciplining them". I'm gonna give my husband another week to talk to his brother - and then I'll take it into my own hands - and there will be fallout - i'll let ya'll on the board know. But I am seething over it - i cannot believe that she would even go to that place with us. Maybe she needs medication. I mean her brother is in prison for meth manufacturing - her mother was an alcoholic and she tries to present the image of the "perfect family" in front of everyone - that just doesn't exist - but what she did this time has really crossed the line.
