Sorry, but offshore crews work specific shifts - such as 7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off. Depends on the company. Most crews do not work more than 14 days offshore at a time. There are some crews that work 30 on and 30 off, but that is not on an offshore rig, but rather on a river or shoreline tug. Again, depends on the company. And yes they do hire women.
