I would keep same color. At least in same color family.

I would buy a three new houses for
our kids, and whatever else they would like to have, then just give the rest away to people/children/animals who need it. Wouldn't even worry about saving it...why? So that the deregulation thieves can steal it?
They do live in their own houses
But there is some type of Scientology Center where they all hang out and do whatever it is that they do there. Knowing that this was in a tabloid, I doubt it's true. If it was it would all over the legit news.
If the houses around you are crap, your value will also be lower than it should be.

I think older houses are the worst for it (sm)
It's not all just dead skin..lol. I just moved from a house that was built in 1959 and had the ductwork under the house, and all hardwood floors. Dustiest house I have ever, ever lived in. I could dust under the bed and a week later there would be huge balls of dust that looked like it should have taken them a year to accumulate. My now ex-husband used to say I just didn't clean enough. Well, I can't wait for him to see for himself that it is actually the house that is a dust pit and not the poor cleaning habits of his now ex...lol. Thanks - Just had to get that out!
When I was little, I loved the houses that gave out pencils..
This one house used to give out pencils that had different smells and that was great back in the day---LOL
I live in Grand Rapids and we have houses like that here too. sm
They are not in the best of neighborhoods but if you have the time and money to fix them up, you can find a real "diamond" in the rough.
Xanax, I have to ask, do you live between Bus 96 and Apple Ave. Perhaps on the number streets coming into downtown Muskegon?
My husband built special houses outdoors for
our cats. We have strays, which we have collected over the years. He built a couple small houses that look like doghouses. He installed infrared heat bulbs inside each house -the kind you can buy at a pet store to keep reptiles warm. He bought guards that go around the bulbs so that the animals don't actually touch the bulbs, which I think you can get at a Lowe's or Home Depot. It may sound complicated, but it did not take him long at all. We have used these houses for years and the cats love them. I can look out my back window on a cold day to see 6 cats(3 in each house)keeping warm in those houses. A girl I work with liked them so much she had him make one for her cats. Gee, maybe we should start a business!
Oh, Miss Perfect, people in glass houses
It sounds to me like her daughter turned out just fine. I'm sure there are a lot of skeletons in your Christian closet so should keep hypocritical mouth shut, I'd say.
Mailing thank you cards to houses with nice Xmas lights, never heard of such a thing and I'm in

55 for cut only, 85 with color, and

Oh my!! I pay $55.00 for cut and color and
5 years to the same hairstylist. I can't imagine paying $60.00 for a haircut alone.
COLOR
Hi, sorry about your hair. Try this first: Shampoo your hair with a fairly stripping shampoo (Prell is best, but who knows where you can buy it these days, so opt for that other green shampoo called Pert. Shampoo in and let it stay on for about five minutes and then rinse. Your hair should be much lighter. In a long-ago time before I did this I was a hairdresser and a colorist. Your best bet if that does not do the trick is find out who to go to in your area who does good corrective work. There is a professional product out now that really works and does not strip or damage hair. It can even remove black. You need a good colorist to apply this. Afterward you can have them reapply a color that works with your skin color. The best way to find someone is to look around wherever you go. When you see a really beautiful color that looks natural ask who their colorist is and try to get an appointment. One thing to add, I have had mine done recently (color removal) and it came out beautifully, but it was over $300.00. It was a small price to pay for me because I had colored my hair Sharon Osborne red and my natural color is blonde. It looked good on Sharon, but on me was a total disaster! Good luck and remember to stay away from "temporary" color products from over-the-counter, read all labels carefully, and stay away from metals in the list of ingredients. If you get it straightened out it is not too costly to go in and have your hair done by a colorist every 3-4 weeks as touch-ups are fairly cheap.
Just went and got a cut and color for $35.00
Haircuts alone are $18.00. I used to go to an upscale salon near where I worked and spent about $75 for cut and color. I find that I lik the job the new salon does for half the price.
$40, color and cut and IN MY HOME YET.....
However, if you get in your car and drive to any salon here in nicer S. Florida neighborhoods - you'll pay through the teeth.
Of course I tip her above the $40 she charges me for the cut and color....*S*
hair color sm
Had beautiful brown hair with natural red highlights, talked into blond highlighting, now go every 3 mos for cut and color but prices are being ridiculously increased to over $110 for this service, $45 for the cut and $65 for partial - more for full highlight. I am scared to do this alone, as I don't want to look like a "skunk" and the highlighting makes me feel better, as I'm getting older. Another subject - as you get older, people treat you like you're taking up space on the planet - rude. I don't intend to go gray. Is keeping the brown and putting in my onw highlights a fairy tale, is it that difficult? Can't imagine how I'll see in the mirror to do it alone!!! Can't afford it anymore. I think the stylist is planning to raise her prices and it will be over $150 for the whole head!

I found some really cool hair color at www.bettybeauty.com
what color shoes to buy
See what color other bridesmaids are wearing, all should be same. Beige or cream color is a good choice. Gold/silver better choice for evening & not at golf course.
Be careful of the color of the tea...
my dad drank about 1/2 cup of diet coke and he had to go back the next day for the test....they said it had to be the coke causing it to be too dark inside...but that was for a colonoscopy.
Sputum...any color - sm
Makes me feel like gagging every time I hear it
In NJ and $35 for a cut, $85 for color and over $100 for highlights, but
it can get higher depending on how many highlights. I stopped that for a while, but had to go back to just get a few on the top and sides as my color was so blah. I tip her 20% because she also washes my hair and gives a nice massage with my feet up. She also will get me coffee, water or magazines if I want them.
It's a color that's associated with sunshine.
:)
Color-Guard Cheer
DH has to wear red to work now, and I wear a lot also. For warm loads I usually add one of the oxygen products or else color-safe bleach, and for cold I add bleach for colors.
I can't use regular bleach on whites because even if I rinse the load twice, DH itches terribly.
Correction on hair color
Just read back, it should say, "I don't want to look like a skunk." The message somehow got changed and is unintelligible (donsunk)
Cut/color: $125. Tip: $25. Ability to call the best
She's worth every penny of it!
That little touch of color at my desk
would be my hubby. He sure brightens my day.
Color significance inside
Colors of the Indian flag, saffron stands for courage and sacrifice and Hinduism; the white, for purity and truth; the green for growth and auspiciousness as well as Islam.
Park by a post, order food, make money!
My office is green and have green throughout my house. It is just not working for me!
Toning down hair color
Somewhere I read you should add baking soda to your shampoo once a month to control product buildup. I wanted to try it, but I was using my Nizoral shampoo, so I didn't want to mess with that. So instead I added it to my cream rinse. Rinsed as usual.
I no longer have the brassy stripe of hair in the back; it neutralized the process some fancy hairdresser had done (after I told him to be sure he didn't get any highlighter on that area because it would get too light). Baking soda fixed his goof!
How cool is that. No more highlights for me.
no, they don't ou ever see a *horse* change color?
Wannie: You have said you married and divorced your DH x3....I can just imagine what a roller coaster that must have been. So, how did YOUR *horse* change colors? *curious* ...via therapy? Intense therapy would have done it - that's the only way....
But then if I married the same dude x3 - I would never tell the world it wasn't working out (if it truly wasn't working out).....goes along with my belief of 3 strikes and yer out.......
perhaps not for you, but for most........perhaps you just *lucked* out...and that's GREAT if he truly turned the corner and remained turning the corner....it's just one never hears that any longer...
Best of luck!!
On the subject of hair color... (sm)
Not to hijack your post, but does anyone know what will easily remove hair color from the skin? My hairstyle is very short and I always end up with color stains on my neck, ears and forehead. The remover they use in the salon doesn't do a good job. I've tried alcohol, shampoo, and even a Shout wipe! Any other suggestions?
question about hair color, please sm
I know there is a post below regarding hair color and highlights. My question is, I colored and highlighted my hair and I don't like it. Is there something out there you can put on your hair or wash through your hair to take this color out (without going to a hairdresser)? I did a lighter color for my hair (my hair is naturally medium brown with a lot gray). I got some sort of blonde color and that turned out ok, but then i highighted it and i have like bleach blonde looking highlights and I just don't think it looks natural. I think i just want my natural brown/gray look. I've been reading about the dangers of hair color and after reading, I think I just want to be natural.
Thanks!
Has anyone used this type of hair color?? sm
Henna is the name of it. It's supposed to be all natural organic hair color. Here's the web site. Just wondered if anyone has ever tried it.

I went with a custom color I made....
If you click on 'customize' it brings up this color wheel sort of thing. I just scrolled around until I found something that was both soothing on the ol' eyeballs and tickled my fancy. I would up going with like a periwinkle blue/gray/violet combination and it so purdy...makes me smile when I type.
That is great! What color is your pekinegese?
I used to have 1 when I was younger, pure white when I got him. So many really good animals now for little of nothing. Congratulations on your new family member.
My mom painted hers a soft gold color
in the family room, and it looks great. If you have built-in cabinets in the same room, sometimes you'll see contrasting colors used for the inside back, and that can look interesting.
I pay $40.00 for a haircut, color and to get my eyebrows done. She charges $30.00, but I pay her $4

Question on home hair color
I color my gray with at-home hair color. I have brown hair and used one that was too dark, waited a couple of weeks and used a light brown which showed on the box that it would lighten hair by three shades. It did nothing.
Should I go with a dark blonde to lighten my hair? I have no clue about this stuff. I just want my hair to be medium brown, not dark brown.
I have the opposite problem - my color lightens up.
I was fine when I could get this sable color that Clairol had, but I'm not finding it anymore. I let some new guy highlight my hair last summer, and I finally got that ugliness covered with the latest color I put on. It started out burgundy and a bit too purple, but now it's lightened up a lot. I don't have a whole lot of gray, but enough to show, and my natural shade of brown is sort of green with a couple of wide lighter natural highlights. Even though I told the hair guy not to get any lightener on those, he did. You've never seen so many different colors on one head until I finally got that mess covered. I like my $9 color job better than his $100 job.
You wearing a bra ? What kind of underwear and color ?
.
I have heard about Fantasia and the Color Purple.
Apparently Oprah has decided to give her a shot. I just hope she got some acting lessons. Anyone see her movie? Yikes :)
Anybody watching Color Splash with David
Bromstad? He is the winner of that Design Star show on HGTV.
I've seen his show several times. I especially like his use of silk. The sheen of silk and the intensity of the colors makes me want to sew my own curtains and pillows ... okay, not quite, but I wish I could get excited about doing all that work to get exactly the look I want, LOL.
I am soooo decorating challenged and need help. I want to put some color
on my bedrom walls, I'm thinking a light sage color. If I paint the walls the sage color, does the ceiling get painted the same or an off/white? If I paint the ceiling the same color as the walls wont the room feel much smaller and "cave" like? I have comforter with olive, sage, dark brown colors. Average size room with windows on 2 walls so there will be light coming in.
Thanks for your ideas.
If the color is very light, paint ceiling with it, too.
Usually enough light reflects up so it appears the ceiling is white, anyway. Only with dark colors will it seem cave-like. I've done it with a celery color and it was bright and cheery.
If you have lots of trim and paint it a crisp white, then I'd paint the ceiling white too. That would look sharp.

Hair color and highlights advice
Does anyone know if you can put a golden blonde color or some kind of a toner over highlighted hair yourself? I don't like the highlights, too beige-ash colored and also extremely light so it clashes with my natural color (light brown). But I also do not want it to look dark or be a disastor if I put color on it. Has anyone done this themselves. I really don't want to go back to this person. Thanks!
removing hair color from skin
Believe it or not, a hairdresser I went to used either some sort of burning chemical OR a paste of ashes!!! Had to rub a little harder, but I liked it better than the chemical!
I love the cardinals' red color against the snow
I get a lot of them too at my birdeeder when these little dickens aren't stealing all the seeds!
What color is your background of your word processor? sm
My eyes are spinning here. I have played with changing my back ground colors, but can't seem to figure out which ones are best for my eyes. Yes, I think it is time for me to go get an eye checkup, but was just curious what colors others have found that suited them well.
When the gray color is yellow-tinged,
that's when it can look good to use that blueing treatment. If you overdo it you end up with blue or lilac hair, but in the right dose it can effectively take out the yellow and give a more pleasing shade of gray or white.
