Hey!
My dad used to take me to a campground that was right on the beach. Of course as I go to write this the name of the place has slipped my mind, I'll have to find out and get back to you. But it wasn't that expensive at all (definitely cheaper than a hotel room or condo) and it was so much fun! There is a park right there and a dock to go fishing on and at night you can catch ghost crabs on the shore!

What foods are native to your area of the country
Over years I have noticed that certain areas don't sell things I used to have growing up. Wondered what kind of things are in your parts of the country.
Two products we had in New England were:
Fluff - It's not like any marshmallow cream. It's light and fluffy and sooooo good. Make a peanut butter sandwich with it and you've got a fluffernutter (oh how I miss fluff).
Moxie - My dad lived on this stuff. I thought it was disgusting but never saw it anywhere else. It's a soda, and dad said it is made from natural ingredients. When you first drink it, it tastes like Sarsaparilla, but it makes you burp and comes up like kerosene (although I haven't drank kerosene before, but that's what it's like).
In California we have what is called an It's it. It is two oatmeal cookies with a nice thick chunk of vanilla ice cream between covered in chocolate. Never have found them outside of Calif. I believe the factory in in San Francisco.

A pill for weightloss, a pill for depression - suck out my fat. How many people take drugs for diabetes or high blood pressure or cholesterol - when diet and exercise would fix the problem? I understand that not everyone with those problems can be fixed without medication - but many, many could be.

I know so many foreigners - some legal, some not legal - and NONE OF THEM - added all together - come off as rude as some posters here.........that's for sure.........and some of them work 5 jobs.......hence, why they're doing so well in this country.
Many American people won't *lower* themselves to do ANY menial type work - so all the illegals and some non-illegals will do anything to stay here...and no, they don't spend their time on bulletin boards online like some *white collar* workers seemingly always do.....

have the hardest time to learn foreign languages and if they learn, they speak it with a very strong accent.
