short arms, short-term memory loss...
I too suffer from Short Arm Syndrome. Add to that the short-term memory loss that middle-age brings and I have now discovered I need to lasso the &*%$ reading glasses around my neck or my day will be spent wandering in circles asking the dog where my glasses are.
I have two pairs, per advice of doctor. I do not wear glasses all the time, so he thought I was not ready for bifocals. My son gave me a wonderful eyeglass case for Christmas that is big enough to hold both pairs should I ever venture out of the house amongst the living.
I did manage to find some "sporty" looking around-the-neck-eye glass holder thingies - what DO you call those things? I'd use twine before getting those multicolored beaded ones. I have a neon coral one and an emerald green one. Too bad I can't find the former, I can't remember where I put it.
Rotten Tomatoes list the 50 best scary movies. Good list.

Definitely short ones
I love in Fridays when my doc does all his patients that were tested for allergies that week.
Short. Not in the least bit Jewish.

hopefully this will be short-lived
I'd still send pictures, etc., especially to your grandparents. Good luck!
My hair is very short right now.
Short layers and all I have to do is spray a little hairspray on it and run my fingers through it and I'm good to go. It has gotten much thicker over the years and hair color has helped with that too. I hate that I have to color my hair, though. I started going gray almost 20 years ago and I just turned 40. At some point, I will bite the bullet and let the color grow out, but haven't gotten there yet. Not ready to be totally gray.
My hair is short
When it starts to get even a little long, I have to go out and get it cut. I don't like the way my hair or the way I look when it gets too long. I just put some gel in it and go. The only thing I don't like is that it can get dry in the sun. I've been dying my hair for about five years or so (46 now). I won't let it go gray, but that's just me. My daughter is only 4 so I feel I would look like her grandmother if I let it go gray.
My 8 y/o is a size 5, but she's SHORT...
for her age! I really hope she grows into her feet soon, looks like she has clown feet :) She's only 4 ft 3 in., but has some of the biggest feet for her age.
I have only seen short segments
as I am flipping through channels and man, is that show filthy! Is the story line that good?
Long and short of it -
While I can appreciate his desire to stop spending so much time in his car, I think the solution he is suggesting would only be very good in the short term at the most. The reality is you all probably need to sell your house and move closer to his job.
I always wanted to be short in HS, like
most of our little cheerleaders were. Now I see my height as an advantage, and i have to admit that even my freakishly long arms do come in handy. Funny how priorities change ...
My dad short-tempered and
was always yelling and pounding tables and children about the dumbest things, and mom was cold, bored and depressed, so it's hard to say.
It's so hard to shop for Mother's & Father's Day cards!
for short people
why is it the one item i need is on the very top shelf so far back i cannot reach it?
Life is too short
Unfortunately, life is actually way too long to be very, very poor, old and alone, and if you can't get along with anyone when you are young, you are not going to be that hot of a catch at the nursing home.
I did it about 3 years ago for a short while.
I quit because it was too much of a hassle. I had to buy the magazines, brochures, samples every 2 weeks plus get orders in every 2 weeks, plus I had to deliver with baby in tow, but you could have them pick their orders up at your house but with so many reps in this area, I had to be competitive. My friend I buy Avon from was having problems the company not sending the right orders, getting things mixed up etc etc. It is just a mess for her so she dropped it.
The pro side of it was that when I sold Avon I got pretty good bargains being a rep. They send a What's New brochure every 2 weeks. There are people here that order merchandise and open their own store and sell it that way. I don't know if they are making profit or not. I do think the real money is in recruiting people to sell like other MLMs. It really doesn't make sense to me to do things that way though. It would be like having a shoe store selling Nike's on every corner. Just doesn't make sense.
If you are going to be in the house such a short time sm
You will build up almost NO equity with a 40-year mortgage, and may have to sell it at a loss. Something to consider....
okay - found it - short story
this year it is too late. They are in the house for the winter and laying next year's crop in your attic - supposed to spray outside the house eaves and foundation included in the fall to prevent any new ones.
Life is short. Who knows what could happen? Go for it! NM

Short story about ATVs
A woman I know was riding one with her 2 y/o grandson. She was turning on the 4-wheeler when it kicked into high gear and wouldn't slow down. They were heading right for a tree. Basically she had to jump off while holding onto her 2 y/o grandson. The 4-wheeler then ran into a tree and did some major damage. Thankfully, no one was hurt and she did the right thing by jumping, but still. They found out that whoever had put the 4-wheeler together before they bought it had done something wrong and when she turned it caused a wire to do something weird and it made it go fast and wouldn't brake. I can't remember exactly what they said happened, but if she hadn't jumped, she would have run right into a tree at full speed with her 2 y/o grandson.
Also, there was a young kid....about 5 or 6....who was killed about a month ago on an ATV. His older brother was driving and something happened and the kid hit his head and was killed. Had he had a helmet on, he probably would have lived.
When my stepson has a friend over, we always ask the parent's permission before we allow them to ride our 4-wheelers and we always make sure they have on a helmet. Asking permission is just common courtesy.
OMG Yes!!!!! It's a conspiracy against short people!
I get so aggravated! And then it never fails you go looking for someone who can help you or has a ladder and no one is EVER working on the floor! At Wal-Mart, I've grabbed one of those ladders they have hanging on posts throughout the store and climbed up myself to get something of the top shelf. THEN an employee appears and tells me I can't do that because it's a liability to the store. I said, "then you need to be out here doing you job so I don't have to!"
Man, being short sucks!
Life is too short to be married
to someone I am unhappy with and especially, not in love with. I would not cheat but would be honest about my feelings and get out of the marriage. Before acting on anything, I would make sure I was divorced as should he. People will get hurt unfortunately, but I could never stay in a marriage knowing I loved someone else or I was unhappy. Life is too short and goes by too quickly. I want no regrets.
People will not like this answer but it's how I feel.
but short on compassion and caring.

Life is short and you only get one go-round.
Is this what you wanted out of life? No marriage is perfect, but being faithful is a basic requirement, not to mention the deadly diseases out there. That's all I'll say other than to add, you're much stronger than I am & I hope it all works out for you & you find happiness & peace, one way or the other.
I bite my nails, so I get them done short..
they are really not too long, but look better than when I have chewed them all off. Terrible habit, I know, but a very difficult one to break. I quit smoking and didn't really think it was that hard, but I just cannot stop chewing my nails!
cute short clip
Upon looking up dysphagia today (yes I know that's pretty simple, but I always have brain freeze with phagia and phasia (especially when they mean phagia but pronounce it with the "s" sound).
Anyway, I came across this cute little film short. It's 16 minutes long but was cute and wanted to share it.

Not to mention I love the actor Stephen Rea.
But I'm short, stocky, and heavyset, so....sm
It's all relative. And my legs are too thick to know whether I'm bowlegged or not. :D :D
In my younger days, I would have sold my two front teeth to have a figure approximating Michelle's. To be slender and willowy, any height, was my wildest fantasy. These days, I'm just glad to be able to walk, run, and jump, forget about the looks part....:D
None on this list but have a list of my own!!
Hanna, Tigger, Sophie, Ethyl, Wally, Pipin, Morris, Tito and Moshee.
5 awesome cats, 3 birds a-flyn' and a little dog in a pear tree!
Add another to the list (sm)
I confess I adored Clooney back in his ER days. Thought he was handsome until just a couple of weeks ago when I saw him with his Oceans 6,279 or whatever number it is gang promoting the film on a morning talk show. He looked like a little geeky guy sitting in his chair. The hair, skinnier, I don't know but something was different and it wasn't good.
Tom Cruise was great in his Risky Business days. He'd be better off now in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Josh Holloway, Liam Neeson, John Cusack and OMG I can't think of any more...any ideas?
My list
Who could only have one? They are like potato chips. All the Harry Potter Movies - do you have YOUR ticket for Wednesday?, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Big Chill, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill I and II, Better off Dead, Gone With the Wind, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Casablanca, Driving Miss Daisy, Rear Window, Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Passion of the Christ, School of Rock, The Crow, Braveheart, The Secret Garden, all the Jason Bourne Movies, The Labyrinth. I have to stop now and go watch one before I fall asleep! I am glad to see all those wonderful movies on here. Now I am reminded of old favorites that I want to watch again and ones I don't own for my collection I share with my daughters.
Add me to the list
My daughter and I pretend that we "miss" the actual real ending of the commercial, when the people come back and take this sweet doggie!
my list
Viagara, Cialis, retirement villages, multi million sports figures stating they drive a Buick or a Ford. Insurance salesmen with one foot in the grave themselves, on-line schools with degrees in 18 months guaranteed, mattress ads, especially designed by designers, you sleep on them for ,,,,sake, you don't wear them! teeth whiteners, wrinkle removers, energy drinks, hair growth products, More - breast enhancers, jewelry that is overpriced, self-help videos, miracle sponges and mops that clean by themselves, Chia, free-trial money-back guarantees (you never send them back), anything with 12 easy payments, no money down; free stuff where you just pay shipping. And that's only a partial list - no room for all of them and no room to make this perfect English or punctuation. There are on-line courses for this, just send them your credit card number and they will make you a college grad in no time!
Top of my list...

2nd list....
sounds fun!
Now to find the time to do my own.. LOL
going to add to the list
One thing that I did when my kids were growing up in the80s was to make a "garbage omlet" (sorry for the typos working up until recently -- but what I did was if there really weren't enough leftovers in the fridge to make a meal, meat, veggies, etc, I would beat eggs up and combine everything along with cheddar cheese and I am on a very frugal budget right now as well -- our local Publix has had Hillshire Farm lunch meat on sale for several months at $4/for 2 packages - I clip the coupons which are $1 of for 3 -- I buy things on special when at ALL possible -- went shopping the other day and spent $200 but the freezer and fridge are packed and that is for me and when S/O is here for 3.5 days -- I basically "create" and one of the things I do is make my own wraps -- buy tortillas on sale, again, Hillshire Farm and for S/O'S lunch, wrap in plastic wrap to hold together -- he will also take leftovers.
One experiment that I did the other day and was great, but I made macaroni salad with no mayo -- took Albacore tuna -- a large can, cooked and drained macaroni, italian dressing, 3 hard boiled eggs -- 3-4 greek olives and your own "seasonings to taste" but here in FL with hot weather or any place NO mayo -- I can only give basic ingredients because I have SELDOM followed a book as far as making anything and this is from someone whom from back in the 70s couldnt even make Jello :) -- go for the roasts, chicken breasts etc -- but try to think too, of meals that rather "prepared you can make from scratch" A pork roast, beef roast, chuck roast, ham, can be sandwiches, BBQ, chunked into salads etc. Sorry, EXHAUSTED after working all day but trying to help -- OOPS forgot about this -- a PREPARED fruit salad with "lunch meat ham" shredded up makes a quick -- hot weather fix as well -- be CREATIVE and good luck

Thanks for the thoughts.. I will update on Tuesday
Two months is quite a short amount of time....
You need to take your time and keep YOUR options open! You may meet Mr. Right while you're seeing this guy. In two months, you probably don't even know his favorite color yet. Don't rush these things. If he is the one, he will figure it out and not want to see anyone else. Good luck! I hope this works out for you.
Me either...31 years now! Life's too short to be uncomfy!

BC Powder Arthritis, but only in the short term. nm
;
I have a short haricut. As a matter of fact
I had it cut on Good Friday in April and cried all the way home. It was shorter than I had ever had it. I didn't leave the house for a week. Even missed Easter Sunday. I haven't had it cut since and am now pretty happy with it. the problem is it has a mind of it's own and has to be washed and styled every day. I would love to be able to just run to the store for a couple of items without having to wash and style.
Are you unhappy enough to leave? Your life is too short...
to spend it second guessing your relationship! It is either good or bad, worth fixing or not... It is your choice. If a man treats a woman like crap and she continues to take it she is also to blame. You can leave you know! There are good men out there, don't settle for less than what you deserve. If you want to be treated poorly those are the kind of man you are going to attract, the lousy ones. Women must stop being the victims. People treat you the way you LET THEM treat you. And those that say stay together for the sake of the children are nuts..especially if you have daughters, look at the example you are setting. I would much rather have a single parent (male or female) who was happy and well adjusted than be in a miserable two parent family where there is no mutual respect and love!
Just read a short note about her appearance
I just wish my husband would ask me to put on a "slutty" show. He and I both would be amazed. When in actual court noticed she kept her eyes down not looking up. I believe in establishing good eye contact. She says she picked up a shotgun, never thought it was loaded (double duh) and shot him. I think anytime you are upset, angry, get a gun you think it is loaded or otherwise why pick 1 up? I have been abused (even broken arm) in years past and I never ever wanted to kill and really do not care to hold a gun at anytime.
I liked mine & so did baby but only for a short time (sm)
To me, it was really only good when the baby was very young. I never tried to use it with them sitting up on my hip or anything like that. But when they are tiny, those things are great. Also keeps the wind off of them :-)
Besides many times life in jail is short anyway
or the criminal ends up with his own kind and fits in fine and learns more... so, if they live long enough (not killed by the other inmates) they learn how to be a better criminal. I just am agreeing there should be no parole. But oh boy, I'd never want to see the inside of one of those places.
Poll: short reports or long ones?
which do you prefer?
I like short ones myself, I get bored with the long ones.
I'm short so I always have to pull my straps double all the way
I get mine at Walmart and Target. but I was thinking maybe if I get a few good bras they would stay. So I went to VS and holy moly...$50 bucks for a bra? I'll stick with my slippin straps!
Isn't life kind of short to be worried
probably peanuts compared to what we make working. Do you really think people on disability live the good life? JMO.
I love that short snout face too..sm
It is the blood line I guess because his daddy has the short snout like him too.
