and was pretty sick. None of the rest of us in the house got it and I was about 14 at the time.

I know this swine flu thing is very very serious, but it sure sounds like they are making a mass hysteria out of things. I am with you on the flu shot thing, no way am I taking a flu shot! Everybody I know that takes a flu shot winds up getting sick. I think I am staying home, out of crowds and take my chances!

One this is for sure, the paranoia is sure boosting the economy. You can't find a mask anywhere. Makes for new masks to have to be manufactured. Hospitals are on "overtime" (hubby works for hospital), I heard hospital stock (I didn't know there was stock in hospitals) was up. What better way to boost the econmy than with a medical scare? Not saying that is what is going on, but this is ridiculous. Prepare the best you can and stop all the hysteria.
