if so, definitely DO NOT bail him out.

i agree. Jail would be a time he might get clean of the drugs, may get the medical help if needed, and may reflect on his life enough to redirect himself. If you bail him out, you are an enabler. p.s. smart people get sucked into drugs too, not just complete dummies. If it were me, I'd have to tell him, "I know you are doing drugs, and you have to get yourself straightened out or you will lose your family too." There are crisis centers, numbers to call, if you (he) wants help. My heart goes out to you, but it must be tough love here.

I would probably bail
there is nothing worse than trying to talk about old times with a friend and having to stop and explain what you are talking about to new boyfriend. I don't understand why new beau would want to go anyway. What guy wants to hang out with two women and kids? Certainly, not my husband. He would be running for the hills!
I don't want to bail them out of their mistake!
ARMs are stupid. If you think about it for 2 seconds you'd know that. Too many people wanted to be Jones's and took the attitude that they'd figure it out in a few years, or sell the house for a profit. Nobody was forced to choose an ARM nor were they forced to buy three times the house they could afford. Now those of us who did not over extend ourselves are supposed to pay for all these "bad investments". What a CROCK!
Nope, thank God! Happily married for 24+ and haven't had to bail kids out...yet..:) nm
