i've not been in your shoes. But my opinion is that it wouldn't be out of line to ask your dad what HE thought of this big wedding and if HE really wanted the fancy honeymoon, or if he was just trying to make his new wife to be happy. I would give him support so he has the courage to not do what he doesn't really want to do. But i think one must pretty much accept their parents choice of partners, just as we want them to accept ours.
