who knows what it is, low blood sugar, thyroid, exhaustion. He needs this workup NOW, either by appt or by a trip in an ambulance. His choice, tell him that.

Is it a complete tear?
Sometimes they can cast them hip-to-toe and they get better, usually according to how severe the tear is. You might seek a second opinion. I have seen some folks take them to the chiropractor and give arthritis meds. Putting him down would not be an option if it were me. Heck I'd amputate if it required it before I would put him down. I realize sometimes this is necessary but as long as quality is life is still good, it is not necessary, plus, he still has 3 perfectly good legs.
Go to petpeoplesplace.com and post your story. It usually shows what state you are in, and ask if anyone knows anywhere in your area that you can call for assistance. There is very good advice on there. There are foundations that finance these surgeries or assist in payment.

Weddings have become such shows...it's ridiculous! I've been to 2 weddings in 2 weeks, neither one too showy, but just money spent on silly little things (no programs!) like bubbles to blow at the bride and groom, which no one was left by the time they left...candies with their names on them, etc. Boy, can't wait til my DD gets married!

I talked to my daughter about the "facts of life" and my stepson, when he lived with us. They understood exactly how easy it was to get pregnant or get a girl pregnant.
It amazed me when my daughter told me some friends from school didn't know menstruation was a cycle. They thought it just happens!
I don't care if a parent is conservative or liberal, you must talk to your children and discuss sex with them and explain how their bodies grow into adulthood. If you want to stress abstinence, fine, do it, but by all means talk to them. Give them the facts, then have trust they will do the right thing and getting pregnant at 17 is NOT the right thing.
I believe this all has to do with the total dumbing down of America. And we wonder why things are so bad.

They said no evidence of any crime occurring - tests ongoing and the rest will take 3-5 weeks to gather all info (drugs, et al).......Dr. Joseph Perper from Broward Medical Examiner's office is speaking now.....no physical injuries were found.....
