Where I live a Guardian - SM
Is always appointed for a child no matter what the age to take of the best interests of the child. This case is just too sad for words.
Try a Guardian Ad Litem
They are attornies for children who are involved in custody cases and they look out for the best interest of the child. Some of them are at no cost if you are indigent.
Isn't it terribly sad that a guardian ad litem had to be sm
appointed in the first place? The baby doesn't know this guardian ad litem, right? Doesn't the baby know Howard to be her daddy?
I feel so ignorant in all of this - but it just can't get anymore confusing to me.
Okay. I'll shut up for now. This would make a great story line for my Y&R!
exactly, the child is 5 months old, needs guardian
and exactly why a guardian ad litem was put in place, until that DNA case is settled out of California.........a short period of time, likely, at this point. The REAL father would get the child, I would think...but again, we are talking about the Bahamas........different laws.....
I sure hope and pray the child gets to be with the real father.....
