I was thinking just last night, makes no difference what you post
I thought these folks will fuss with a nun! I have never seen so much yada, yada, yada in my life.
Great post.........sm
but then I'm a spoiled-by-America freedom (for ALL) fighter for 40 years......every day I awaken and thank the Lord for another day of life and for living in the USA! Women in MANY places are not even allowed to show expressions on their faces so YEAH, I'M REAL THANKFUL!
Great post! You are right on it!

Great post MTT!
Great Post...sm
totally agree. could not have said it better myself. determining what is *healthy* for others is judgemental. animals do not judge. people do. I would rather spend my time around loving animals than with people who judge others for all sorts of things. *family* does not necessarily constitute *unconditional love.* In fact, family can be our greatest critics and our greatest heartbreaks. been there. will choose an animal every time. Exactly....great post! NM

LOL!!!, that was a great post...thanks for that!!

Great post
Can't someone just be supportive and wish her well without getting into a theological discussion and analyzing whether or not somebody will go to heaven???
GREAT POST -
Great post
With one correction: Not only is "11 years of age" not too old for rehabilitation, there is NO AGE TOO OLD for that!
In this throw away society we are way to ready to give up on people who just need help. Remember the children we don't 'rehabilitate' today are the ADULTS of tomorrow who commit crime.
PREVENTION is the answer: It benefits us ALL.
Here here! Great post!
You said everything I have been thinking for a long time. If only everyone felt this way, we might not be in the mess we're in right now.
GREAT POST!!!!
.
Great post!! (sm)
If we should learn anything it is that God wants us to all love one another. EVERYONE. We definitely need to open our minds!
I was about to post that - isn't it great! (sm)
I am really so thankful to know that she is alive and away from him. I have been waking up thinking about her through the night. I still do not understand how the mother could not know - you would think you could see evidence of something like that. My child is 7 and I just can't imagine - I am confused by that part, how you wouldn't notice anything. But I was so afraid she had just been tortured to death, so I am so relieved.
Great post - I would add this: Why does he sm
listen to so much talk radio?? That is proby 90% of why his attitude is negative and he is gloomy-doomy! "He can't handle it?" What, he can't handle life b/c he is freaked out by all this crud he is taking in through his ears!!
As for traveling, just do it. Flying is statistically safer than driving anyway. I fly 2-3 times per year and, while I don't like it much, I figure if it's my time to go, I'm gonna go - flying, driving, hit by a bus or whatever! You can't live your life waiting for crap to happen or you'll never leave your house!

Great post - my DH has cut off 100% of his sm
hateful family, 2 sisters, both parents, everyone. They were abusive when he was younger; they treated me crappy too when I came into the family; and in his 40s he finally said "Enough". This may be extreme but we live out of state and they do not have our phone #s or address, nothing. He has chosen to cut them out completely b/c they were toxic and bad for his mental health.
Great post...
You said what a lot of people think every day. I get tired of walking through Walmart and hearing announcements in Spanish.
That was NOT a great post
What is wrong with you people? Are you all from hickville or something? Are you all sporting a shaved head with a tattoo that says white power? I could say the same thing about Southern people...hicks with a stupid accent and no education. How does that sound? It sounds ignorant, just like that post. Or how about saying people from MN are just as dumb as the people in the movie Fargo. Or all Californians say, "hey dude, surfs up." You guys are just a sad group. Yes, ESL reports are annoying, we can all agree on that, but to attack a group of people, OMG! Grow up!
Thank you for this great post!....nm

Ditto this great post! Also, maybe your dog needs
a 24/7 true friend, like another dog. Obviously having major separation anxiety issues, and understandably. A friend would sure help, as long as you don't crate both a long time. I understand the crating issue - I have labradors, and about the first 2 years of their lives, they are very goofy. Will eat anything if it moves or not, including sofas, tables, chairs, etc. I am a big pro-crater when you are not around, for the dog's sake. I crate all mine at night until they mature and settle down. Maybe that is the case with you? Maybe your pooch is mature enough now to want to be out of the crate at night.
AMEN!!!..................great post.....
GREAT POST, HAYSEED!!!
great post, Jurrasic MT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great post, Margaret!!
Great post, I was in SAME situation..sm
In fact, parts of your post could have been written by me........and I too left with nothing, the child...gave him the house and the dog....and IT CAN BE DONE without support of family (as another poster way below typed). I had no family support. I made my bed, it was up to me to change the linen, mattress, box spring, frame I had been sleeping in for 12 years of this sick marriage.....had to change the life! So thankful I did...that was in 1991 and I'm a happy camper ever since!!
Some people are going to sit and wallow in their situations and gripe, complain, *itch and moan and still never do a thing about it. I am not one of those people. Never was, never will be.
However, I truly hope those going through this find their strengths within themselves and DO THE RIGHT THING!!
Best of luck!
great post and I so appreciate what you're doing!!sm
God sees all - and you ARE blessed!! Thanks for posting all you have posted and sharing with all of us!!! I so get it about dealing with the govt and trying to get anywhere in dealing with govt agencies!! I wish for you and the children THE BEST!!!
They are true! Great post! Thanks! nm

lucky we are to be with are pets, and able to be outside with them when its nice. Thanks for a breath of fresh air and also reminding me that we are lucky to have this job which allows us the freedom to appreciate these joys in life! :)
Great post - I'm 50 and feel the same way - sm
Maybe things will change now that we are headed into a recession / depression? There is a new interest in "simplicity" and a frugal lifestyle, so maybe there's hope?
great post ks and who invented the Bible?
My opinion is that men interpreted the bible(s) of the world....women had little say, and GOD HAD NO stuff to write with.......men certainly did succeed and put their *slant* on things to control.....yeah, to control........is my belief and my opinion and I'm sure at least dozens others here too...and even more in the grander scale of things, not just those on online bulletin/message boards.
DITTO - Great post!! I agree.......nm
that's right - great post, hubby and I were preggers
great post, thanks for pointing out hypocrisy
Amensister - GREAT post and I agree!!!!!
Government get out of our uteri !!!!!! (one of my rooms in my home is a tribute to the Native American by the way!!! *S*)
great post but Koreans have lived in/around USA
And he did attend Korean schools in his most formative years, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I know plenty of Korean people for decades in this country (good people)....they were some of the first Asians in the modern era to come here, no?
A very sad situation for all involved..........but speaks tomes once again at what is happening in the USA with guns. I still don't understand how he was able to buy a gun when he was in a mental place for 2 days in 2005 for *stalking* and the gun shop evidently did a background check on him, so why didn't this admission to some mental facility pop up? *very_curious_indeed*
Great post and also, ladies, do breast self-

Great post, I am going to follow your advice
It says everything that should be said. I in no way feel just because family should accept, in that were the case every family member could just stop in and that would be feeding an army. I dislike the bad manners to start with; never should you say you are coming to a dinner not having been invited in the first place. To be truthful, feel like uninviting the others he volunteered to drive here- if not for them he would have never known about the dinner in the first place. They told him at a Thanksgiving dinner they had (we were invited, working though, did not attend) and I really resent their saying anything about in in front of other family members who I did not invite this year. We usually have a group of 10 only here at my home, the same each and every year. Others are out of town. Thanks for the wonderful suggestions! I shall follow through.
this is a great post; I have shelter pets.

Great post, but I couldn't help remembering this:
A mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the motor of a Dodge SRT-4 when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop, who was waiting for the service manager to take a look at his car. The mechanic shouted across the garage, 'Hey Doc, want to take a look at this?' The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic was working on the SRT.
The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag, and asked, 'So, Doc, look at this engine. I open its heart, take the valves out, repair any damage, and then put them back in, and when I finish, it works just like new. So how come I make $39,675 a year, a pretty small salary, and you get the really big bucks, $1,695,759, when you and I are doing basically the same work?' The cardiologist paused, smiled, and leaned over, then whispered to the mechanic
'Try doing it with the engine running.'
Great post, snow bunny. I just wanted to add that
the poster, the mom, needs to put a stop to this, whatever that entails. These are her children, and their welfare is at stake, so she can and should call on all resources to end this game playing. Therapy is a great idea, too, but mom needs to be sure these grandparents know who is BOSS (not them), and that they are NEVER to play games like that again - EVER. If I couldn't afford a lawyer, I'd ask my pediatrician for help, etc. Nobody should play games with our kids, let alone their own kids (their own son). God forgive them.
GREAT post - gotta be happy in yer own skin!!
YOU_GO! Great post, today's 50 is yesterdays 30!
I feel the same way as what you posted - and I'm 58!! *winks* - feel 35, look 45, and I refuse to give up the Peter Pan complex/syndrome..
loved your post - great minds think alike!!
Right on. Great post. And... does anyone read nonfiction anymore?
Thanks to my 'nonprogrammed daughter,' by her own doing I should add, I have been getting a steady stream of historical information. It would help many Americans to know the history of the US, and I mean really know it, to understand why things are the way they are. It's not necessary, I know. More important is current events, but to know how things got to where they are now could make a difference in not repeating the sams mistakes.
It can be a complicated and ponderous process and while Americans are lazy, most don't have to time to really uncover all the layers (I know, another thing the media, government, etc. counts on).
Great, greatly supportive post from "Through the Mill". nm
.....
For that small amount, can't you take
xx
Such a minute amount but what I was
saying anyone who has a huge amount on their card really cannot stand to take a chance with not paying on time- I am sure would not have a problem having it written off- they love me because 2nd time I have paid off totally and always on time (not this small amount though) and the last time over 10 thou paid off. I will probably call them anyway.
