I hope they help you both - I had plantar fasciitis (sm)
once for two years!! I eventually got a stress fracture (Jones fracture) from walking on the side of my foot to try to avoid the pain. I ended up in a hard cast and then a velcro cast, for a total of four months. When I came out of the cast my fracture was healed and so was the fasciitis. Then, about two months ago, I started having it again in my other foot (my pedal foot) I got so scared that it was going to be another huge ordeal that I started with the Crocs (thanks for correct spelling Lisa :) and Aleve, and the foot stretches and scrunches and stayed consistent and it is almost completely gone....if you can, don't even walk to the bathroom at night without your Crocs on, at least until you are well...best wishes to you both!
heel spur/plantar fasciitis and trying to type
Has anyone out there had heel spurs and/or plantar fasciitis and have tried to keep typing? I've had a cortisone injection, am doing the exercises, and have tried ice but still have pain. I've tried switching to my left foot but then my knee hurts. I've tried to use my elbow with the pedal, but then that slows me down. Any suggestions other than to switch jobs?
Anyone that has plantar fasciitis or heel spurs found a good conservative help for this pain. nm
