It sounds vasovagal to me. Do you have low BP?
A few months ago I got up in the middle of the night (my bedroom is on the main floor) and walked to the kitchen, got a drink of juice, turned around and the next thing I knew I was waking up on the kitchen floor with my cat and dog sniffing me. I fell face forward and passed out! I'm lucky I didn't break my teeth but I did cut my lip pretty bad. Never happened before or since. It was the weirdest thing. Now if I have to get up from bed I do it very slowly!!!!
I hope you are feeling better - take it easy for a few days. I was shaken by my episode but I think it was vasovagal too, just got up too quickly.

Did you hit your head before or after fainting?
?
When I got this flu, I did have a touch of the tummy trouble, but no fainting. But both sides of my neck were very sore to the touch. Must have been nodes, but weird that it was such large areas. I took Tamiflu, and the neck soreness went away, but I still had chills and exhaustion for 2 weeks.
Weird fainting. TMI enclosed.
I've never fainted in my life. Tonight I had a bad tummy ache, went to go potty and while sitting down decided I was going to throw up. So I picked up the garbage bag, the fan noise got really loud, my stomach hurt and then next thing I know my kids are standing over me asking if I'm okay. I didn't eat much today and the kids brought me some crackers when I was able to get up and I feel better but a little freaked. I also smashd my glasses into my face and somehow dang near broke my leg. I can barely walk on it. I'll see how my leg is doing tomorrow before I call the old doc. If I had insurance, I'd probably just go anyway. Has anyone had a random fainting spell before?
