In Reply to: I watch Fox & CNN, but I don't hear the jibes that you do. Maybe I just - see a different view. nm
Remember when those guys put up the neon signs to advertise some cartoon in Boston, I think it was, that caused a big possible terrorism scare? Well, that morning it was reported first thing on CNN and how the parent company of CNN was the ones who employed that particular advertising agency.
After about an hour, I switched over to Fox because CNN basically rehashes the same news every hour in the morning (and I'm not a big fan of Soledad). The anchors at Fox were relentless in their opinionated tirade about how stupid the guys were who put up the signs (and yeah, it was not the brightest advertising scheme).
But then they said words to the effect that the person responsible was the owner of another cable news agency and, "I bet you won't hear THEM reporting this story," chuckle, chuckle, laughter, etc.
It just kind of struck me as odd that they would make an assumption like that.
Also, they (not sure who)had some not so polite criticism of Anderson Cooper... can't remember exactly what it was, though.
Anyhow, other than that I do like Fox. I don't mind the Dem versus Rep debates, because they usually do have both sides represented and I don't mind when anchors voice their opinion about a certain party because they are not misrepresented as neutral.
