It's not only about age...it's about the fact that his role as her teacher made the relationship unbalanced power-wise. Which is the same thing that makes Woody Allen & Soon Yee so creepy. Legally they might have been within the law, she might have been adopted & of legal age, but emotionally he was a father to her.
