I just saw that on TV last weekend, you should not keep eggs in the frig door but in the carton in the back of the top shelf because they get too warm in the door and allow bacteria to grow. Also goes for milk products, only thing that should be in the door are condiments and things that have a vinegar (acetic acid) in them as a bacteria retardant.

Art Storage

Does anyone know where to get a flat, under-the-bed cardboard or some kind of sturdy art storage box for kid's art?  It's taking over my house.  School just ended and they also sent EVERYTHING home. I'm in Seattle.  I have searched online with Google, Staples, Office Depot, Michael's, I'm at a loss.

food storage
I have been doing a lot of research on food storage. Do you practice this?
food storage
I'm Mormon and yes I do food storage. Is there something specifically you wanted to know about it? It's just part of the teachings of our church to be self-sufficient and prepare for hard times. Not any kind of doctrine or anything. We are encouraged to store at least 3 months of nonperishable food, live as close to debt free as we can, and have money in reserves. Just common sense, really.
what about one of those very large storage tubs--sm
you can buy from walmart for about 7 or 8 dollars. They are pretty large and you can cut a "door" in the side of it so they can get in and out. just a thought.
Once I lived near some storage units

So a friend and I rented a storage unit for the month, took all our stuff there, made up signs, and set them out by the corner when and if we were ready to sell.  It was definitely worth the rent on the unit.  When we weren't in the mood to sell, the stuff stayed locked up and dry and didn't have to be handled again and again.

I did not like the food at all. I have a whole storage container full of it. YUCK and no thx.
