having no husband to gripe about...
I'd would appreciate having someone to snuggle into bed with at night, someone to fly off the handle at, someone to take out the trash for me....get the idea? Why you didn't anticipate the situation and buy and wrap something for yourself is beyond me. Been there, done that, use the T-shirt to wash my car with now. No one can make you unhappy unless you let them. I _do_ empathize with you, but hope you are able to learn from these experiences and use them to enrich your life. Making someone else responsible for your happiness will also be disappointing to you.

I'm 5ƍ" but most of my height is in my legs. I'm short waisted. I always have to buy the long lengths in pants. Anyway, what irks me is my sleeves are always too short. I live in the NE so need sweaters, etc for the cold and I hate how my sleeves are always too short. Guess I have long arms too? I dunno. I wish you could find clothes not only with extra long pant lengths but also longer sleeves.
