please do not just sit there and let it stew. You will not get beyond this until it is somehow resolved. You cannot just sweep it under the rug. You will never feel the same toward him again until you are able to come to terms with this, and that requires some participation with him. If your sister is so bold now 17 years after the fact, talk to him and her at the same time so no one can lie!!
