I think my mother is in another scamming situation. She doesn't know it. She doesn't believe it rather. She was scammed once a couple of years ago, actually sent this guy some money because she believed his story about losing a cell phone and needed $600 to get another one. She sent it to him. We suspected something was up but she was always very vague about her online relationships so wouldn't tell us much, and also because she knew we didn't approve of the going's on, and we didn't know about the payment to him until weeks later when she finally broke down and told us. Now she is in another situation that has been "brewing" for 2 years now. Either this guy is VERY good, or he's just a sick psycho who is hanging on to my mother for his own personal wants. She says he lives in Canada and his name is Cal Radisic, lives in Picture Butte, Alberta, Canada. He is 44 and she's 73. He keeps promising her he is going to fly in to meet her but keeps coming up with excuses not to. Now he did send her his debit card number to pay for some repairs on her truck. We hope it isn't a stolen card. How can we check that out? We don't know what to think about that. Anyone have any ideas please to point us in the right direction? He has asked my mom to look for some land in her area for him. He wanted her to check it out. All the land around my mom's house is owned and not for sale by family. Please tell me someone else has heard of this man. Thanks so much.
