be sure to try freezer straw. jam!!

it is the absolute BEST tasting jam ever, and so quick and easy to make; add the pectin stuff/sugar etc, wait 5 min or whatever instructions say and put in freezer. So fresh tasting compared to cooked jam and great on ice cream, waffles, etc. (recipe on instructions in suregel type boxes)

straw caves
I think a good idea is to put bales of straw/hay around the outside of his kennel, stacked, then loose straw/hay in his dog house.. Hay is very expensive and scarse in our area this year - luckily, my fiance has quite a bit and I'm sure he will help me out. . .
straw caves
We stacked several bales around the inside of the kennel and the dogs had a blast jumping on them, running, and then jumping off. When my son was young he would run around the outside while they ran inside and had so much fun.
The straw that broke my back was
when my 90-year-old father was killed in an accident. I was only relative left, no siblings, no other living kids - well my son said I had got it ALL, thinking he should have more than the $60,000.00 my father had given him and his children for their school/college. How greedy can a person be? I should have had EVERYTHING but not the case. When my grandparents died, I think I got some dishes, maybe and oh, yeh and a watch from my grandmother. Rememberence type things which I am thankful for. My DIL's family just took completely over. I have a great life, though and I figure things will be like they are supposed to be. No sweat off my brow.
Just get him some straw bales and remind him how

Freezer jam
I did try that last year and wasn't all that impressed. Seemed a little runny to me, to use as regular jam on toast and things but I hadn't thought about as a topping. I bet it would be great with angel food cake!
Long Island IcedTea, ahhhh. just one, tho - with a straw.

Defrosting chest freezer
Anyone have any quick fixes for defrosting a chest freezer, this is the first time I have had one and the frost is starting to build up, is full so is there a way to take everything out and defrost it quickly, without turning it off and letting it AL melt itself?  Thanks in advance.
my freezer/fridge is dying

Like an idio t, i thought it was my imagination that stuff wasn't getting cold enough or frozen hard enough in my fridge/freezer so i haven't said anything to the manager of our townhous complex.  around Wedesday I noticed my cool whip wasn't frozen. Now my "frozen" fish sticks are softer and easy to break.  Are they safe to eat? what happens if a "keep frozen" food gets thawed out? Is it still safe to eat?? The office isn't open until Monday and he probably won't get here until Monday afternoon at the earliest so what do I do with all my food in the meantime??

Do you have a friend who has room in their freezer to help you out? nm

Woman falls into freezer & dies

How can you do that? Wouldn't it have to be an awfully big freezer? Regardless, what a horrible way to die.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police say a woman accidentally fell into her freezer and died before a friend found her and called authorities.

Colorado Springs Sgt. Tim Hogan says a woman called police Saturday morning to report her friend was dead in the freezer. Hogan says that an initial investigation makes it appear the woman fell into the freezer, then got trapped and suffocated before she could get out.

Foul play is not suspected. The woman was not immediately identified, and police didn't say how long the woman had been dead in the freezer before her friend found her.
