Yes, I already had the judgment placed against me 3 years ago, but I don't own a home or any property. Have been getting and promptly paying bills with the tax returns since then. I guess for the upcoming court date, they will judge my "assets" to see why I am not paying...I know that in MASS the statute of limitations to collect a debt is 6 years. I am not worried about my credit as that has a bankruptcy on it from 8 years ago (business related). We are living fairly debt free otherwise, but have nothing and need a lot of things that we are not able to afford right now (washing machine, car at some point- both driving 9-10 year old cars, new computer which I need to work, ours is 7 years old). I am not trying to be flippant about this, but they can't get what I don't have. If need be, I will file bankruptcy again at the end of this year, and even with all the new changes in the law, I WILL qualify. The last bankruptcy was filed only in my name and at that time I was married already. Did not affect my husband. I really do not want to go that route again as I do want to buy a house some day before I am too old to get a mortgage...37 now. Unfortunately, I did make a few payments a couple of years ago, but at the rate of $100/month interest, it was throwing good money after bad, and I stopped. That paying did restart the statute of limitations again from that point on... oh well...The debt was probably about $7000 to begin with before all the interest.

Difference between judgment and discrimination
It wasn't 20 years ago that he murdered those 2 people.
Yes, you are wrong and I will be happy to correct you. Most restaurants, especially privately owned local restaurants - that are not part of a franchised chain for example - have signs up that say they have the right to refuse service to anyone.
Also, you are using discrimination in a pejorative sense. Before political correctness robbed this country of its moral fiber and backbone, discrimination was a good thing. It meant using common sense and good judgment in every aspect of one's life. I think we could all use some discrimination in our lives together.
I see no reason why any business owner should be forced to serve anyone, as long as they aren't basing that refusal on religion, gender or race.
No, she needs a friend. Not judgment or condemnation.
She needs encouragement. She needs to know she is not alone and that will find the strength she needs.
You obviously lack empathy having had such a perfect existence. And I don't think you'd recognize an encouraging word if it bit you on the butt. So my advice to you would be to get off our high horse superwoman! The world and fate have a way of make examples of haughty people like you.
