you said do not believe in spanking- but then you said you would have gotten knocked across a room. I wrote a post above and that is what is missing now and I am a firm believer in corporal punishment. It worked so well for me (late 60s) and all the others I know of. I am appreciative of my mother now- then I felt like she might hate me but so many people turned out so well. We were not pampered, petted, catered to like the children are being done today. America needs to wake up before the kids completely take over. I see it more and more each day.
