You would think the world came to an end if someone wedges in in front of them or stops suddenly

when they shouldnt be driving on top of everyone anyhow. Like worry about the things that are worth worrying about. Gets tiresome all the time.

Youngest DD had two starts and stops sm
before she got really started. Don't think I would worry.
If she stops meowing after you pick her up (sm)
she is probably not in pain. She would meow and may even lash out and bite if she were in pain. She wants lovins from her momma and some attention, it sounds like. Things to look for when it is the end (although not all animals are the same, of course): Sleeping/lethargy, not eating or drinking, urinating on self, etc. I know it's hard to hear *you'll know* but you really will. And if you are even questioning right now, it's probably not time and she just wants reassurance.
3-way stops drive me nuts --
we have 1 at the end of our block. When returning home, I am always on the street that doesn't have to stop. Unfortunately, I do have to turn left from that street and for some reason the people across from me, waiting at the stop sign to come straight through, seem to think that they have the right-of-way.
They have a stop sign. I do not. If I don't put on my turn signal, they may think that I'm going to straight and will start through anyway and end up hitting me. If I do put on my turn signal, they think I should have to stop.
It drives me nuts. They may as well make it a 4-way stop.
Buck stops with you. Your health is your #1 concern.

Hey! my nails are suddenly improving
I have always had weak fingernails. I recently read I can blame the Raynaud's I have. But my nails are suddenly getting harder and growing, so I wanted to share the possible causes.
1) I just started using Burt's Bees lotions. I have the shea buter hand repair creme, and also the Babby Bee buttermilk lotion. These are great products. I especialy like the Baby Bees because the fragrance is really nice. I'm going to try a lot more of their products.
2) I just started taking vitamin D. I bought the kind with calcium and without. Calcium is good, but can be constipating, so I am taking one one day and the other the next. I decided to take it because it is supposed to be helpful for depression, and since I'm working at home now and not with people, I don't want to get depressed. But I was surprised to find the healthfood store didn't have a lot of products with D in it, so I think people have missed the news about how important vitamin D was discovered to be a couple of years ago. Don't want to get MS? Take vitamin D now. Want to keep your teeth? Take vitamin D. Want to do all you can to avoid cancer? Take vitamin D. Don't want your mother-in-law to break a hip and come live with you? Buy her vitamin D! Here is one article:
http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20041009/bob8.asp
So either the lotion or the vitamin D is finally giving me decent fingernails. Worth a try if yours are weak.
wouldn't bother me...maybe he is just suddenly==sm
into aromatherapy. maybe he just discovered that certain scents make him feel good, as we all do. If you are worried, just ASK him. Probably nothing. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill and keep suspicious mind to yourself. If he thinks you suspect something, he may give you something to be suspicious of. good luck to you.
Have you ever had your blood sugar suddenly
I was just wondering, because I think that's what happened to me today just as I was finishing up with getting a little exercise this afternoon. Usually a piece of meat or cheese and I'm completely normal again, but this time it's much slower to go away. Just as I was about to call it a day anyway, I suddenly got very weak-feeling and slightly nauseous, & a little light-headed. Sat down until it passed, then skipped going to the market afterward, like I'd planned, and came home. While driving home I was sweating so much that in about 10 minutes I was soaked. I came inside, had some cheese and some slices of chicken, then lay down, using a big bath towel as a blanket since that's what was handy. Soon that was soaked, too. Felt better about 30 minutes later, took a hot shower and had some dinner. Now I'm almost back at baseline. I've had similar spells very occasionally in the past, but they always cleared up within minutes of having either some protein or a banana. Does that sound like a hypoglycemic episode to you? I'm not diabetic, in fairly good shape, not overweight, and do tend to eat a lot of sweets.
This little smiley shows how quickly it comes on, and how it feels!
If you go off it suddenly, risk of suicide goes up. But,
It made life worth living again.
Asperger's doesn't suddenly get worse
All their peculiarities remain constant (and they have logical explanations for them when asked). Nobody has developed new or different problems over a short course of time.
If they do something especially wierd, its usually just because they got bored, stressed, or were having a private internal joke. This may be the case with the throat clearing or hair cutting; either way he should be able to explain if this is why. Its usually best to ask right when they do it if something is wrong or why they just did that (otherwise they may not realize they were doing it at all).
Example 1 - John, who watches TV sitting crosslegged, habitually rocks and rubs his knees. When I met John in 1985, he did not do this. Gradually he started doing it more and more often, until it became the "norm" whenever he's watching TV. Now an established habit (and pretty much an unconscious one), if you mention while out having lunch that he does it, he denies it. But if you catch him doing it and point it out, he will laugh and realize he does it, ponder why, and tell you it has a calming soothing effect on him. John may make jokes about doing it but seems unable to stop. Occasionally if a visitor tells him to hold still, he will realize with a guilty start he's been doing it again and hold off for maybe 5 minutes, then he will start back up again without even noticing. John also sometimes laughs loudly at nothing or starts talking to himself in half sentences, because his internal life sometimes breaks through to his external life. If asked at the moment he does it, he will say he thought of something funny or was thinking really hard. If you ask him a couple hours later, he'd deny it happened.
Example 2 - Tim, who is easily upset and stressed when his routine is interrupted. He will pace the floor, rearrange the furniture, possibly cut his hair, maybe shout to release his anxiety, maybe retreat to bed in tears. Tomorrow, if the routine goes as usual, he'll be fine.
Example 3 - Paula has issues with fluorescent lighting buzzing. She goes to an unfamiliar grocery store, halfway through her shopping she starts to stress out from the buzzing. If her wait in line takes too long, she will likely flee the store and leave her groceries behind. When she is calmer she will go to a more familiar store and complete her shopping.
Does any of that sound familiar? From the sounds of what you posted, I think there's got to be a different issue going on with him.
i totally agree! common sense says he was with both when they suddenly sm
died of "over dose" and he was the one who gave the pills to daniel. something fishy to the obvious eye, but guess like OJ, you got money, you escape justice.
Has anyone every been awakened suddenly after biting your tongue in your sleep? SM
OMG. Does this hurt. I bit the very tip of my tongue really hard last night when I was asleep and now can hardly eat, drink, etc. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else. Wonder if one of those mouth guards would help. I was told I have TMJ and grind my teeth. Maybe that's what was going on!!!! This is the second time it has happened! Many months in between. . .
I think it's better to be up front
and honest from the start about lending $$$ and stuff (cosigning loans next?), kinda nipping it in the bud as it were. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.
I had a guy jump right in front of me
As if he didn't see me. I didn't want to make a scene, but I thought it was very rude. I absolutely hate cell phone usage in public. It is very annoying. I will purposefully make noise to interrupt. I think cell phone usage while driving should be banned as well. Most people are not paying the least bit of attention when they are driving and talking on a cell phone. It is worse than driving drunk in my opinion.
especially in front of children
Once I was waiting of food at Taco Bell and a girl was talking to an employee and bragging about how when she worked in another restaurant she and her co-workers stole so much "sh*t" over and continued to repeat the word as well a further other words my son didn't need to hear. Finally I said "Please, he is only 9, can you talk about something else. She did shut up after that.
My little dog rides with me in the front
Most newer vehicles, including mine, have the ability to TURN OFF the air bag on the passenger side, which mine is unless there is a human rider. Also, we have a "Doggie car seat". A basket type seat which he rides in. There is a hook to secure him that attaches to his collar/harness. It allows him to sit high up where he can see out all the windows, plus he cannot climb on me to cause an accident. We need to treat our dogs like children and put them in a car seat. He loves it; he gets to see around and go anywhere momma goes. PS: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THE CAR, EVEN WITH THE WINDOW DOWN, IN ANY KIND OF WEATHER. The interior of your car can heat to over 100 degrees even in 50 degree weather. My sister lost two of her babies when her husband left them in the car last spring.
I liked the part where the guy had to run in front - sm
of his truck and put a rock under the tire to try to stop it, and it kept rolling over the rock. I had a truck like that once.....
better shot of the front - sm
try, try again. This is before the previous owner refinished it, it is totally black now (with all the rust removed).
We usually have babies on the front - sm
and back porches, though I got rid of the nest on the back table on the porch as it was just a drag having to worry about if the dogs were going to figure it out and eat the babies, had it barricaded in a bit last year and all surived though. It was right by the back door which we let the dogs in and out from so it took them a while to get used to that. We did not hang out plants this year out front but when we do we always end up with a nest in the plant, makes it hard to water but we still manage to do it. But no nests so far front or back, had a family of rabbits under the shed though that all survived from whatI can tell, at least our dogs did not get any. Last year had a cardinal build a nest about 2.5 feet off the ground in the backyard and my Lab knocked the babies out, we put them back in the nest and moved it to a safe location near where they had it but they ended up dying. The birds tried again though, this time in a tree right by the back porch, high enough so the dogs could not reach luckily and they all made it that time. Neat to watch every year, will have to keep a look out. The birds have been stealing my husky's tuffs of fur I am pulling out from his massive shedding going on rigiht now. Seeing them flying off with fur in their beaks is funny.
Maybe you can work on your daughter to not ask to sit up front
Though, I agree, your DH is the parent and this should be a no-brainer for him. She absolutely should not be up front. Maybe if you can convince her that she shouldn't be in the front seat, as her older sister seems to know, then she won't ask. If she doesn't ask, dad won't put her up front.
It does stink, though. I've been married for 22 years to a really great guy. But occasionally, he just has no common sense, and yeah, I have to manipulate a situation. I'd be out of my mind, just like you, if my kid survived cancer and then was injured or killed because of a silly, preventable thing, like having her in the back seat.
Having known the risks up front, I decided
myself never to have a child after 30 even. I had my first at 21 and then my daughter was born when I was 29. I just had always heard the risks and did not want to take them myself. Everyone can do what they want but the older here is not always the better.
Interesting front garden
Interesting use of wooly thyme.
occasionally blatantly in front of them - usually (sm)
In an underhanded way - he is treating me as "subordinate" in a less obvious way in front of them most of the time. It's hard to explain. But to sum it up, my son told me the other day, "Mommy, I feel like Daddy is always trying to make you think he likes you but I don't think he really does."
Old dog keeps chewing front paw - new habit for him
any idea what causes it and if it is okay to put tea tree oil on it? He is 14 years old and has been doing this for a couple of weeks. Has a raw spot there now.
No problem. Pay varies. Usually you buy something up front sm
and then you get paid for the shop on top of that. Usually around 20.00 for the entire shop. Takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on where you go. Metro area where? I live in Alabama.
Mine is in the front room
which is supposed to be I guess the "formal living room", but we never used it for that. I'm right next to two big windows so I can look out and see what's happening around me. My daugher's computer is right near mine so I can monitor her and my youngest daughter uses it for her playroom. I'm somewhat cluttered, but not overly so. Lot of pictures (my autograph collection), pens, scanner, steno book, dictionary. I've love to have doors put in, but I doubt that will ever happen.
Not sure about that. I'll have to check. I just know the gum in the front is very
bad and you can see on my teeth where it should be. It is about 1/4 inch below that, honestly. My nephew last night ordered Ultra soft toothbrushes on Amazon.com. Like they told me at the dentist, this is a hereditary condition as well, and my dad had it and lost all his teeth when he was a young man.
Me too! One time hubby and I pulled in front SM
of a car doing that and put our turn signal on. Then another car pulled in front of us and did the same thing. It was a TRAIN!!! For miles it went on like that down the highway, and the guy behind us never got a clue.
Does he treat you badly in front of your children or is it
usually "behind closed doors?"
The only reason I asked if it was in front of your children or
not is because there is always a possibility of children blaming the parent who leaves, not that being verbally abusive "behind closed doors" makes it any more right. I just wouldn't want your children to say that mommy left daddy if they were not even remotely aware of what was going on. Obviously, from what your son said to you, he is aware of his father's behavior toward you. We can all give you our opinions and can hand out advice (myself included), but ultimately, you are the only one who can make the decision for yourself and your children. I would definitely spend some time praying about this as it is a major decision and a tough one at that. If you're like me, and I think you must be from what you have said, your children are your life and mean everything to you, and how this will affect them is your main concern. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love my front loader. Kenmore. Got it 7 yrs ago.

So that's why I find feathers in my front yard sm
on occasion, and yes, they are dove feathers. Always thought it was cats. My son liked to let his chihuahua run loose but not not any more since a hawk nearly scooped him up one night. He got rid of that cute little white sweater that made him look like a skunk. Now he only goes out on a chain at night.
Have friend who has false front tooth. Can be done. Looks

Do you or did you cuss/swear in front of your children?

AWFUL!
Did anyone ever have a dental implant for a front tooth and wish to say what
they thought about the whole process with wearing a flipper, etc. until the implant.

You were correcting her in a meeting in front of other people?
You said this was in the course of a meeting, which leads me to believe you were not only correcting her, but doing it in front of other people. OUCH.
People using terms like "learn-ed," "ex-cape" and "axt" make me break out in a nervous rash if I have to listen to them for too long, but I would never correct someone for it.
ESPECIALLY NOT IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE.
Likes to show off in front of the boys.

I have to have a front tooth removed because it cant be fixed anymore and has had all it can have
done to it. It was damaged when I was young along with the one beside it. Has anyone had a front tooth removed and instead of an implant had a partial or something put in for 1 tooth. What do you recommend other than an implant. I have lost a lot of bone with this tooth so it would be a very long process for an implant. This tooth has cost me a fortune so far.
Cats declawed front only can still climb trees and

I'm blocked in. My office is in a pass-through/pantry to the kitchen. No doors, just open archways. I have hung blankets and have a space heater going to stay warm while I work.
Brrrrr!
I was diagnosed with fibro but the rib pain, front and back
started 2 years ago when I got back from vacation and has been there off and on since. Sometimes horrible pain, sometimes just there but never completely gone. I went for 1 acupuncture but it is $70.00 out of pocket for each treatment, insurance does not pay so instead I am doing the 70% chocolate, 2 pieces a day because read that might help because of the antioxidants and flavinoids. As long as I am not touched anywhere around the ribs do pretty good. Have tried the chocolate for a week now, cancelling doctor appointment this Tuesday and will see if that holds the pain. The chocolate lot less costly than the treatments. I have found absolutely no assistance with any physician I have gone to, none including pain specialists, rheumatologists, ortho, etc. I sometimes have extreme fatigue, can lie down for a while and it seems to go away. I have hurt all over with the fibro but now my pain issues are the ribs (oh, forgot about the feet but too long story on that). Did your physician give you anything for the costo? I do not take anything for the fibro nor the costo. I had to dust my fatcat today and I thought she weighed a lot, she is only 20 but still had to pick her behind up and put her in the bathtub.
It just doesn't seem at all normal, healthy, or realistic to put your dogs in front of your own c
