I am using Angel Food Network for help with food (sm)
Being much more careful not to waste food. No more fast food. Soda only if bought in a two-liter bottle, not singles or fountain. Most of my money waste was spent on food.
Angel Food
We are having a difficult time right now also. One thing that has helped a lot is using Angel Food Ministries and grocery shopping at Aldi. There has been discussion on this board about Angel Food before, but if you have any questions let me know.

Someone on main board I think, recommended angel food network, which (sm)
I have been familiar with in the past. You might want to check that out as a way to save a lot of money on your food bill.
Celestial Seasonings is the brand (health food stores carry it also) nm

YOU are an angel
I hope that your loved ones shower you with the love that you display for others. What a kind, loving heart you have. God bless you. I wish there were more like you, this world would be a better place to live. Merry Christmas to you
You are an angel.
My grandfather used to call me his angel but I think all caregivers are angels. Take that step and do something now. My doctor is my angel.
You are an angel.
I know there is a special place in Heaven for you and all animal rescuers.
I've taken in strays all my life and literally work to feed my animals! Besides dogs and cats I've able to adopt goats and horses now that I live on a few acres in the country. There are so many, many animals in need..
God bless you.
What an angel! A keeper for sure! nm

She truly is a little angel. Thank God for those who care, and SM
for those who are not afraid to report such things.
Your a guardian angel to that poor dog...
and these people have children? If you get updated, let us know. You are a star!
Four abortions is not excessive to you? Never said I was an angel...
but at least I learned my lesson and decided not to abort again, and never would again, and gave a child a decent life that I couldn't have given her. Now, as far as not wanting to know the child I gave up for adoption, as they say, walk a mile in my shoes and then perhaps you would understand. Not all of us have the mothering gene, sorry to burst your bubble, which, if true, I do give the poster credit for admitting to. Just because we are women doesn't mean we want to be mothers. Using abortion as a means of birth control is a dysfunctional trait as far as I'm concerned.
Angel story - Was driving with my kids to Florida from NC (sm)
We always say a prayer before starting on a trip like that, asking for God to send his angels to protect us. My children were about 5 and 8 years old. I got onto the interstate and before getting to the next exit, my car started bumping really bad, like I had a serious flat or something. I pulled over, got out and looked. It looked fine. I got back in, drove some more, a few minutes later, it happened again, much worse, the whole car was shaking - hard - not just like an out of balance car, but seriously shaking, almost like the brakes were on and the car was still trying to move. I took the first exit and saw a repair shop right there! I asked the guy to look at my car - it looked fine. He test drove it. Nothing. He told me it seemed fine, didn't charge me a dime, and I went on my way. A few miles down the road right in front of a rest stop was a huge pile of 2 x 4s and 2 x 4s scattered all over the road. I never had that problem again with my car, ever and never knew what caused it. But I believe that we were being protected by angels from being there when the 2 x 4s started falling, who knows what might have happened.
It's nice, but food prices insane and food is really bad,

gees you really want to carry this on, don't you..sm
maybe my body will become worm food, but my soul will not be here and nor will I care, at that point. boy, that would be a really cute decoration, if I was taxidermied and placed in the living room...that might just keep out some of your antichrist cooties, right there! lol. and that is ROFL, not ROLF.
Conceal/Carry
Judging by all the negative posts to your post I would say that these people don't understand the process. In order to carry, at least in most places, you need a permit. You are investigated and have minimal training and testing before you are allowed to carry a concealed weapon. People with a past history of mental disorder or felonies are not supposed to be licensed for this. Crazies and felons already have guns and do use them. Just read the paper and you will see what I mean. The only people who were defenseless up until now in Utah in colleges were the people who were not crazy or felons and were not willing to break the rules and carry anyway. Does that sound fair to these people? Crazies and felons walking around armed (they don't really care if they are caught) and the rest of us waiting for something bad to happen?
I have guns and have had since I was 18 years old. I have, in the past, had PMS, but am not crazy, have never been arrested. All the years I had PMS I never once shot anyone in my "PMS state" and a couple of times I had a few too many glasses of wine - I shot no one at those times either. I get angry too from time to time and so far no one has been shot, so those arguments are ridiculous. The way I see it, the constitution provides a way for us to protect ourselves if we wish to and need to. I wish to. If you don't, that is okay too. People who are uncomfortable around firearms should not have one. Those who do feel comfortable should have the right if they are mentally stable, not a felon and have training and a license. Once my gun ownership probably saved me from something really ugly when a man tried to break down my front door at 2:00 a.m. I was on the phone with the police who were trying to get to my house, but there was a robbery in progress and I lived in a small town at the time, so I was "next" in line. At the point where I could no longer hear the police dispatcher (the guy was screaming, kicking the door and pounding on it, I made my choice. It was evident that I was the only one there who could protect me. I set the phone down and told him to move away from my door or I would shoot him through it. When he heard me put one into the chamber of the weapon (shotguns are really loud) he got scared and took off. Evidently, he had heard that sound before. I did not have to shoot him at all. When the police finally arrived 20 minutes later they found that he had been outside my home for quite some time before he decided to try to get in as evidenced by liquor bottles and cigarette butts on the ground where he had been hiding. After the fact, he was found to be extremely dangerous. I am thankful I had a shotgun and handguns that night. I am still thankful that I have them. I have killed no one, have scared one person who meant me harm. I don't think you necessarily have to be a law enforcement officer in order to make good decisions in a crisis situation. Others can do that too and have that right as long as they go about it in a lawful way. I am happy that Utah has the foresight to allow their students and teachers the right to protect themselves. I hope other states follow their example.
Why do they carry slacks in different
lengths only to carry short and average in the stores? Nothing is more irritating than to go through the entire pile to find there are no slacks in tall. I asked in the stores and their comment was they don't get many requests for tall. Oh please.
Also pack anything you buy in your carry-on - sm
one of my group made the mistake of packing her stuff in her luggage, every single thing was stolen that she bought there. I took mine in my carry-on bag, as did everyone else but her. Just be smart and aware.
Mine don't carry them but can find at
a Michael's or Joanns crafts. You can use a wax milk carton for your mold. Make sure wick is correct size for your mold - i.e., different wicks for different circumferances.
men carry lots of these things
Women get Trichamonas, men don't *get* it - they are just carriers of it and hence both would have to get treated. Men can be and are carriers.........
try googling HPV and you can find out TONS of info on the subject
You need to make threats and carry through
I am exactly the same way, get shocked if someone suddenly enters my room. Cannot sit with my back to the door. I told my husband he could not enter anymore without knocking because of how much it scared me and if he wanted to continue, I would take my cup of coffee and throw at him, it really scared me that much. He taps on the door outside before entering, so much nicer.
Blow them off, change your *name*, and carry on!
;)
Carry the hardwood into the kitchen!
It is just as easy to care for as linoleum and it will look wonderful carried through continuously. It will make your house look more spacious.
Hopefully it's a benevolent spirit! Acknowledge it and carry on. :) nm

And the scariest part is, they then carry this disease
among many others without even knowing and spread them around.
Mice carry vermin, get rid of the stove sm
I don't know where you live, but call Goodwill or some derivative of that type, Craig's list as mentioned or a free newspaper which advertises cheap and don't risk getting sick. Make sure you disinfect all that area and plug it all up and reseal probably with a piece of plywood or something before you replace the stove. Perhaps you can arrange for your town to pick the old stove up. I wouldn't use it. Sorry for your troubles at Christmas, it must be hard. Perhaps you can get some frozen meals to microwave or canned food from the local church food bank. I was told by a friend who works at a food bank that the government provides them with a check for a certain amount and they have to spend that whole amount on food, not a penny less, and they sometimes have too much food. Also, see if there is a church near you who provides meals. Some around here provide lunch and dinner and don't ask questions. Research, research, don't be proud, everyone is hurting. Good luck to you! Hope you do okay, everyone gets mice, no one is immune, just disinfect, make sure they don't get back in and replace the stove.
My cat only eats dog food and won't eat cat food or even tuna.

This is the reason I refuse to carry a debit card....sm
Most retailers do not require you to use a PIN and there is no security on these things. I've heard of many people like your daughter getting stuck without money for a few days while waiting for the bank to credit them back. Another problem that happens sometimes, including happening to my husband when we were dating was that when we ate out the waiter made an error on the charges to the debit card - charging $440.00 instead of $44.00. The waiter immediately ran the credit and the manager apologized, but the bank still took out the $440 until they received the written confirmation from the restaurant's bank of the error. Fortunately he had the money in his account to cover this error but other people would bounce checks over it. The same thing happened to my mom - an error was made and she was without as much as she should have had for the 3 business days it took to credit her back.
Your daughter should immediately talk to the police department about the fraud and the bank. Good luck straightening it out!
Bring a light, easy-to carry stool.
You will be surprised how long the walk is, and often the grass is damp, but you'll want to sit on it. I walk my dogs up to 3 miles, but it still seemed like a long walk on a warm day.
You'll want a wide-brimmed straw hat for the sun, too. Sunglasses of course and great, cushiony shoes you could stand in for hours. Most kids would not enjoy tagging along.
I enjoy watching golf on TV very much. It's the only sport DH and I both watch.

podcasts are like radio shows that you can carry with you and listen to at any time.
You can find them easily on iTunes. There's a link to their podcasts somewhere on the left side of the page. You can search podcasts for subjects that interest you. There are also video podcasts, if you have a video iPod. One of my favorites is The Rest of Everest. It's a weekly video show about climbing Mt. Everest.
You can also listen to podcasts right on your computer, so you don't need to download to your iPod, but it's nice to do that. There are podcasts about every topic you can imagine! Search "crafts", and you'll find something. There are lots of travel podcasts, sports, business, you name it. Some are very highly produced, others are kind of basic. Some are put out by professional broadcasting companies, too. PBS puts out tons, and I like to listen to Garrison Keillor's "News From Lake Wobegon" every week, too.
That's probably more than you needed to know!

Okay, Utah passed a law permitting college students to now carry guns. sm
I am very for this and think it's a great idea. Now let's see how many colleges in Utah have shoot outs like those in the other states. I bet shooters will think twice about going in and blowing a place up knowing that there are probably many people carrying concealed weapons. I would feel much safer in a Utah college than anywhere else.
I always carry hand sanitizer and I don't hesitate to cover my mouth / nose sm
if someone starts coughing. I don't care if anyone looks at me oddly - i don't like breathing in their germs. Also think about upping your vitamin intake, to support and boost your immunse system.

Just a tip about animals
As I am getting cleaned up from Christmas and heading towards the New Year, thought I would pass on something that I do and if you don't know about it and can do the same, here tis: I get the newspapers each day (along with lots of subscriptions to different magazines), save them up and when I get a big bunch I take them to my local animal shelter. They cut them up and use for bedding for the animals. Pass it on.....
Well at least they like animals...
I'd take them for neighbors over someone who *shoots at* animals, any day!
Animals
Dogs and cats are good! That will be a fun job and animals are so loving and grateful for anything we do. Good choice too since you get free vet care you can get another dog! Or two. You can never have enough dogs. I only have three. I need a bigger house so I can have more dogs! They are our "babies" and are spoiled. I would hate to transcribe without my dogs who sit next to me and "wait" - what have I ever done to deserve this? I just accept it and feel loved.
animals
If she could have someone else feed them honestly it would save her a bunch. The minimum I have seen places charge and I have moved around alot was 16 a night per animal. Sometimes if you can put 2 in the same cage they give you a small discount on one animal per cage.
what we will do for our animals. .
One year my cat just kept jumping up into the middle of the tree. . we came home from work several times with the tree in the floor. . we eventually anchored the tree to the floor AND ceiling. . . as he got older he got calmer. . I'm sad to say last Christmas was his last - he died in January at age 17. . . He was a good friend. .
Yup, just like animals, neither can they. LOL

animals
I would do the samething, have two dogs that I love dearly which one is blind and has lived in the same house since she was a puppy, and still runs into the walls and things. It is so sad to see, so I would never do anything to make it any harder on her. Bless you for being so caring.
raw animals
The wild animal the dog kills wasn't raised on a factory farm under conditions favorable for salmonella epidemics, and wasn't force-fed antibiotics to cover the many diseases hens get when they live in such tight quarters.
Then again, the raw chicken is actual chicken, rather than "animal digest" or the other euphemisms the pet food industry uses to cover the miserable quality of their food (even the premium brands are just awful).
And just look at how animals
almost always hook up with another animal friend ... even natural enemies.
I guess if you are very social, you can get enough from other people and activities. I get drained too easily and so would rather have my mate than be alone.
how do you know that? Unfortunately animals
cannot tell us how they feel, not before and not after.
Poor animals!
A ''crate'' is just a nice term for a cage. How sad to cage a dog or cat.
You can only try. That is what we did with my son. His stuffed animals SM
were his worst nightmare allergy-wise.
I've had dogs with dry skin, but never were they were that miserable. I wonder if they make a doggie lotion that could help or if there is some type of herbal remedy like who knows what but some type of oil safe for doggie skin.
I have two black labs now and one puppy Yorkie. My older black labs gets some dry skin on his belly, but nothing too bad.
Don't give up. You'll find it!
