If the women gave birth ALONE is that the reason another woman's husband should give her $500? So she would not be alone, should he have shown up at the hospital? I doubt you would be that understanding if it were your own husband. My husband and I have separate accts and we do not consult each other on what we buy. We each buy what we want- but this is a completely different matter. It is not his place to give another woman money. It is not his place to see about the welfare of another woman. I give freely from my heart on different things. I have never and would never give another man nor woman $500 because I was their friend. I counted 2 I would give to, my aunt and my daughter only. He is not responsible to this other woman- he is responsible to his wife.
