Sasha is my healthy Siberian. Nearly all the pictures I showed DH were rescues, and I was very surprised that he decided on a show dog. I saw hundreds of dogs I could have loved, he didn't move on any of them until he saw this one. He wasn't bred for us; he's 5 years old. His breeder is responsible, breeding very few dogs of the highest quality. They certify eyes and hips and show their dogs ... and often win, proving their dogs are considered among the best. We can offer him a different life than the one he has grown bored with, and his main purpose is to keep our rescue girl, Sasha, happy and entertained while I'm working.

That's Sasha, too. Sweet dog, and
very ladylike (unless another dog wants her object of great importance). But that's what everybody tells me about a female dog that lifts her leg.
I'd like to get Cesar to come and tell me what's going on with her.
He has the Schipperke and Sasha.
He wants his mama and he wanted her NOW.
Good thing he's adorable.
Sweet Sasha
We had to take Sasha, our Siberian husky, to the vet tonight because her breathing became much more difficult and tiring for her. It was time. Recent chest x-ray showed spread of the lymphoma to her lungs and liver, yet only this past weekend she eagerly went for a walk with her whole pack. She showed no signs of illness when she walked, but her appetite went down for a couple of days and then the breathing problem when lying down.
She and Misha are together again, and CJ too. Sasha will make a excellent lead dog up there. We will miss you, sweet Sasha.
I know. Here I am all excited, and what if Sasha hates her!
If Sasha says no, we'd be nuts to get her because Sasha needs somebody to play with.
sorry, didnt mean to misspell Sasha!

Sasha is home from the oncologist.
She sure doesn't act sick. Her lymph nodes are already quite shrunken, which is good. DH has to look at all the different option plans and decide what he's willing to do. Naturally I'd do the optimal treatment that runs around $4500, but I'm not the big breadwinner. At least she is getting something and will feel better than she has. Cedric is happy she is home, and so am I. Vet said she was very good, even when she had all the vet students come through to take a look at her huge tonsils.
I am bawling like a baby right now! Sasha is just smiling, smiling, smiling. I don't think sm
I've ever seen a dog smile that much!
With love.
