I've been married over 20 years, and I accidentally did fall for somebody when life got ugly. It wasn't really DH's fault, except that he was very content and not paying attention when I was trying to communicate problems. But I fell for somebody way too young to keep, so now I know there is heartbreak right around the corner. I swear this one would have been the perfect guy if not for our age difference. Life is cruel at every turn of late.

And I'm scared to end the marriage too because of fear of living on my own and making ends meet. I also don't imagine falling for else now. But I'm uneasy when DH tries to be nice and reconcile. I don't have those feelings, and I'm not sure when they completely disappeared, but they're long gone. Crazy.
