If you were in France, would you expect people to speak English, or would you try to make yourself understood in French? If you were in Spain, would you do the same?
Why is it that when people who do not speak English come to an English speaking country and WE are the ones who are expected to accommodate them?
My great grandparents came here from Ireland, and you better believe they weren't allowed to speak Gaelic.
