If you get to see your parents/siblings once a year and have to stay in a condo, this time reserved the room using a credit card, including a deposit, realized they had not charged you and called to remind them, and then a couple months later they still haven't charged you.  Suppose you really are having financial difficulties but had to do this to see be able to go see family. BTW, this condo was the same or cheaper than all the hotel rooms in this area and there is no way to stay with family members.  Should I call them again and tell them they didn't charge me? I know some of you are going to say "of course!" and I know thatis probably the right thing to do but maybe I need a little nudge since I am broke-ola!
