What do you mean? Atrocity?
I think with you it goes beyond the little 'prick' that babies get during circumcision.
What's the point for being so fanatic about this issue?
I bet, would the appendix be situated outside the body in an easily to access location, it would be snipped away right after birth, too, because it serves for nothing, like the foreskin.
Not so with the tonsils, they have a very useful function, until they get overinfected and do more harm than good, then they get snipped away.
